copyright laws are the devil and only protect the most wealthy publishers rather than actual creators, and if you’re spending your time trying to justify why it’s good when websites like the internet archive, emuparadise or kissanime get sued or taken down you should probably get off my blog before i start hurting your feelings

the workers and creators aren’t seeing more of that money with the websites being shut down. it’s all hoarded by spiteful conglomerates who want an extra cent and are willing to destroy the sole repositaries for a lot of games, books and shows that sometimes aren’t even published or available in the west anymore, out of sheer fucking spite at not seeing more money. if you want to help creatives get more money, such as authors or the animators of a lot of studios, help push for unions and donate/give/buy directly!!!!! don’t try to get these shut down or defend the destruction of these repositaries!!!:!!!
