Everyone is born with special ability. Well, maybe not superpowers, but we call these special abilities ‘talents’. Some people are good at sports, or singing, or dancing, or drawing...and so on. The fact is that we own these abilities and we can be our own heroes. But there will be times when you have to choose between your ‘powers’ and making a living. I have seen a lot of people making a fortune with their ‘powers’, and also some people who gave up their ‘powers’ to land a job that promises them a stable living. Spiderman is a hero with great power but he struggles in daily life so much. That’s why this character is always inspiring me. There will be expectation for you to live up to, there will be struggle that will push you to just give up what you are good at. Everyday is a test of determination. “Don’t give up” is a simple quote to say, but to walk the talk takes more than one can imagine. However, it seems like it is the only way in life. Whenever I felt like giving up, I just tell myself to hang on a little while more. A vivid dream I had. In the dream, I was in the ocean and the oxygen tank was on the water surface. The tube had metal chain on it, making it very hard to swim back up. Being a dream, logic and physics might not work here. After I woke up, what I could think of about the dream is that the ocean is equivalent to the stress in daily life, whereas the oxygen tank is the money we need to sustain our life.
