Hello hello!!

I might have more ark headcanons to gift you, lovely moot, since someone needs to hold up the fandom and it's probably gonna be us. Without further ado:

• Lister gets cold really easily, and will always be wearing layers and his warmest jacket in winter. That's untill they do a world tour for the first time and they go to Australia, where the seasons are flipped and he's so miserable he has to go clothes shopping.

• Rowan once stalked his stalker back and freaked them out enough to make them stop. Every time the guy followed him, Rowan would take a picture, every time they'd text him to harrass him, he'd text back something equally annoying (he sent over a virus once and things were quiet for like a month)

• Bicci are so annoying when they're on speaking terms. God help anyone if they're recording on the same day. Those boys will be spending more time stuck to eachother than recording anything. They have to get a staff member to separate them because Lister wouldn't get off Jimmy while he tried to get the chorus right.

• Rowan is the kind of guy to use full punctuation when texting, and he sounds ominous as fuck. He'd be texting "Wake up." And Lister would be convinced he was plotting his murder.

• Bicci would be publicly cancelled if anyone ever leaked their texts lol. You can't comvince me they're not the freakest of freaks once Jimmy gets over the paranoia. Jowan fans would WEEP.

Jimmy is thay type of person where if hes in a kitchen you best believe he will be sitting on the counter. He's only in there to grab a drink? Might as well sit on the counter while he has it. Rowan's cooking and he needs to talk? Theres a spot right next to the cutting board. Making out with Lister? He sat on the counter just to initiate it. It makes him feel cool 😎

Finally started writing my fic again 🥹 it's been way too long 🥹

care to expand on your vision for bicci's semi-ironic use of petnames? what do you reckon they call each other lol

It definitely starts as a competition to see who can embarrass the other one more. Lister pulls out the most stupid, made up pet names in front of other people, like if Jimmy asks him to grab something he'll go "sure thing honey bun sweet pea xx" and Jimmy utterly despises him for it. Jimmy tries to get his pay back but it always fails because he feels too awkward with it.

Then after a while it falls off, but Lister keeps up with shorter names like "hun" or "dear", which he does jokingly, but it reminds Jimmy of his grandparents and how they were, which really is his only perspective of a healthy relationship. So he subconsciously associates these pet names with warmth and love and happiness, which is why he doesn't stop Lister from using them. And I think Lister would catch on pretty quickly, so he doesn't stop, but he doesn't use them all the time, because he still finds it kind of silly.

From Jimmy's side, I can really only see him using pet names when either of them are super tired, or sick, basically when he doesn't have the energy to feel awkward about it. He has the weird perspective of being raised by loving grandparents who openly loved each other, but also having parents who did the opposite and he NEVER saw love between them. So he rarely uses pet names, but when he does he means it in a truly sweet way!! Like I can picture him half asleep calling Lister "love", or jokingly call him "babe".

If they do go down the on and off again route for years and years they would 100% be like those divorced couples who lwk still love each other and use pet names more than their real names. For the laughs, yknow?

Imagine older bicci and they're still on again off again, but at one point they just randomly elope. And dont tell anyone. Like they continue their ways as normal but they're technically married. Makes it 10x funnier when you think about their no contact phases, but then like... they need to do taxes or something

okay so mostly deeply dysfunctional, chaotic, occasionally a bit toxic has got me obsessed with the idea of Jimmy hooking up with some guys either before he and Lister start hooking up, or during one of their breakups and one of them is like please please please fuck me and Jimmy is like sure yeah and tops this guy and has this moment of realization that he reallllyyy likes topping which just furthers his slut era and then he's topping men left right and center and I also think during these hookups he finds he really likes being more dominant in the bedroom, not like a lot, but he really enjoys being in control and basically just this post of @slugmania's. Oh! one more thing, I think at some point in bicci's on and off shenanigans either Jimmy hooks up with someone to make Lister jealous or Jimmy just hooks up with someone with no ulterior motives but it makes Lister insanely jealous so then Lister goes and hooks up with someone as a way to get back at Jimmy <3 to once again quote slugmania, pain and misery on planet bicci <333 and please if you have thoughts about any of this i would Love to hear them!!
