In the article “Humans vs. The Environment” by Mike Adams, talks about the topic of how humans spread poisonous gases “through the atmosphere” as they say and given it a sense that humans are proven to bring pollution to prove a point that they are just as clever or morally correct about how high and above they are against nature and how nature is just there to help the earth be ‘beautiful and grand’ as well as being what they do best which is go through the cycle of life. In the book “The Control of Nature” by John McPhee, it discusses that humans are the ones that may try to take control of nature and they themselves make it more of how irrational mankind can be in these types of situations such as exhibiting ‘mother nature’. It goes as far as bringing Greek mythology into the mix as to how in there world they believed how nature worked and wondered what caused all of this to exist and to happen. It brings more than just scientific facts but religion and culture and cases of how examples that bring out the lesser side of human nature vs the nurture of humans with nature itself.

In the book “The Control of Nature” by John McPhee, explains that it doesn’t come as a political book or point of view as you could say. In the article “Nature vs. Humans” from Ted Talks, it explains how the human population, nature, and technology come together as one in today’s day in age. As the article states “...  Human-powered airplane... Here's a giant flying replica of a pterosaur that has no tail. Trying to have it fly straight is like trying to shoot an arrow with the feathered end forward. It was a tough job, and boy it made me have a lot of respect for nature. This was the full size of the original creature. We did things on land, in the air, on water — vehicles of all different kinds, usually with some electronics or electric power systems in them. I find they're all the same, whether its land, air or water. I'll be focusing on the air here.” It says how the it all is one continuous cycle of all three of them come together to advance our society. That all three are better together than being against one another as the book continues to explain. In the book, it tells you that us as humans, try to force our way to be better than nature yet we can’t avoid it or abandon it, for without it we couldn’t survive.

In the article it explains the difference between nature and nurture and how the differences of the two terms are yet how they come together as a “perfect marriage” you could say for “Mother Nature” in a sense. In the Book “The Control of Nature” by John McPhee, I haven’t began to read the book itself yet, I only have the read the summary to give myself the idea of how the book could be like. From what I’ve read it’s said that it’s morally about human fighting against nature to bring out our dominance side that we are more superior than anything else, questioning whether we control nature or is it the other way around? As I’ve read the article, it tells you how nature vs. nurture clash so hard. As it states “... explores ideas on the role of nature and nurture in violent and antisocial behaviour through interviews and open-ended questionnaires among lay publics.” It also makes the accusation on how nature unexplainably has that sense of power and or control of what goes around in our society, an example such as fate/destiny. The quote of “everything happens for a reason” or “let nature take its course” given the idea that nature indeed takes over human beings or superior point of views.

In today’s society there are various types of art or can be considered as art, such as makeup. Most people use makeup to look good for the day, or for a certain event. Others use it as a form of self expression, and that’s just it, It’s more than just of self expression it’s an art. A high art at that, it gives people the freedom of what they truly want to do or be. The idea of the makeup is make this pretty facade for everyone to see in one’s eye, majority girls and boys, but some use makeup as a form of showing someone who they want to be and who they truly are inside. It gives people the choice to make themselves however they like to be seen as. In some’s point of view, they see it as lying to another to give off the impression of someone they are not. While others see it as an opportunity to be able to get creative, to give an illusion of breathtaking beauty of one’s vision depending how they want to portray it. As if there was an important art museum opening and to see the makeup really come to life, and makeup doesn’t just stay on the face, it also shows as the form of body art which is already a key of being high art. Although others may disagree, majority men, makeup is what makes the impression on them in the first place. Makeup gives the idea to a man what kind of person woman they are, it tells them what they are getting involved with, if they only would go into that much detail. The quality of makeup is also the importance of what level it ranks. It’s not all important information to know, it may not even cross through anyone’s mind as to what makeup is, something to cover up flaws, imperfections, dislikes one your own appearance. It could be that it sets the mood your in or being more like a habit yet makeup also opens to so many ideas and imagination, it’s the same as any other regular painting except instead of a white blank canvas, the human face and body is the canvas and gives anyone the idea to at least look into it, given out of curiosity. It gives those chances to the people that want to show others and the world a fortuity to see in your eyes what makeup can be/become in today’s world and the future’s as well.
