GRACE KELLY as MARGOT MARY WENDICE
DIAL M FOR MURDER (1954)
dir. alfred hitchcock
"JUST FRIENDS?" Paris' Orly Airport, May 20, 1955: French actor Jean Pierre Aumont and Hollywood film star Grace Kelly, romantically linked by the movie columnists, might be giving some credence to the speculations, in these views of her departure for the United States. Aumont seems to be wearing the "long face" (top), and Miss Kelly is a bit sombre as they leave her hotel in Paris. They "break up" (centre) as they wait for her plane at Orly airfield, and then become more serious again (bottom), Miss Kelly, who appears to be getting a "five minutes till plane time" signal. The romantic talk about the pair began at the Cannes Film Festival, where Aumont was the Oscar winner's constant companion.
