No Bad Weeks
so this week hasnât been the greatest. iâve been tracking how many calories i eat versus how many i burn for the past 3ish weeks and every week has been literally amazing. i havenât been crazy hungry every week (i think my hunger builds up over time, is with me for like 4 days, and then goes back to normal lol) so my deficit has been admittedly too large but iâm working on that by getting some satiating, higher calorie foods into my diet like more fats bc i think my hunger has built up too much this week and thrown me off. i started off the week super strong and then kinda fell off. i ate a ton last night but thatâs ok! iâve still lost 4.6 lbs realistically (i don't have or want a scale. iâm weighing myself when i get back for spring break and i have no stress or obligations to bloat me or make me retain water - also not too concerned about weight so much as i am about my composition, how i look, how clothes fit also i think weighing is kinda discouraging bc plateaus and shit), my clothes all fit better, and iâve looked noticeably slimmer in photos. oh but anyways back to this week. monday, tuesday = good, wednesday = overate by a little bit but i just could not get full!!! deff overdid it tho, thursday = good, friday = wayyyyy overate but again i felt like a botomless pit!!!, saturday and sunday are gonna be good - itâs supposed to flood here so i prob wonât be able to leave my dorm but thatâs ok ill just chill the rest of the weekend and give my body some light, refreshing foods and listen to it - donât starve myself but also donât stuff my face or eat when im not hungry (even if that means skipping breakfast like now bc im still full af from last night #pizza). as long as i donât overeat this weekend (which I WILL NOT!!!) then i can maintain a deficit of at least 500 calories for the week. i know itâs only 14% of a lb or something super small but itâs something!!! and something is better than nothing. as long as iâm in a deficit in the long run then i will achieve my weight loss and have my dream body again where i feel and look my best. itâs all about good habits and consistency. and even though this week is âbadâ in comparison to my other weeks itâs still getting me closer to where i want to be rather than setting me back. ok just needed to rant about that. always remember to pick yourself back up and avoid the temptation of âall or nothingâ and self-sabotaging.Â
