I think sometimes our bodies don’t know what else to do besides sleep when all we do is lay around.
Our bodies are weird.
I don't know why I'm so tired, I don't do anything.

I've Missed You ☁ Grace & Dylan
A hearty chuckle escaped his lips as he pulled away, his eyes meeting hers for once more. “Hi, Grace!” he exclaimed enthusiastically, unable to hide the excitement in his voice. “Hi, honey, I’ve missed you too,” he sighed contently, grabbing her hands. “I wasn’t lying when I said you look great, though.” Dylan took the moment to admire her attractive features, the brown, short cut hair and tiny frame.
He stepped into the room without so much of a thought, going back to the time when it used to be a regular thing for him. He reached around to palm the back of his neck, glancing around before heading for the bed. “It used to be a lot messier than this, trust me,” he teased, hoping she’d get the implication he’d thrown in there. A small blush reached his cheeks as the dark-haired man leaned back into the wall. “No, The First Time is not on Netflix, thankfully,” he grinned. “But whatever movie comes up, I don’t care. Bonus points if it has young Patrick Dempsey though, I heard that man was a heartbreaker even before he hit puberty.”
Grace tried to hide the blush that painted her cheeks bright red, the boy knew just how to make her heart race. "You look pretty great yourself." She said, looking the boy up and down. His hair was messy and unkempt and the smile he had on his face could make a girl melt.
Her hand flew to her mouth at his comment, covering the girly gigle that escaped her lips. "That was your fault, y'know." She bit her lower lip thinking about all the times they'd spent together in her room. She quickly dismissed the thoughts and tapped the space next to her. "You can come sit next to me, I won't bite.. Unless you ask." She looked away quickly, regretting her comment. "That's not what I meant, oh my goodness." She giggled quietly against her small hands. "Young Patrick Dempsey got me feelin' some time of way." She said with a grin as she crossed her legs underneath her and turned on the tv.
I've Missed You ☁ Grace & Dylan
Dylan hadn’t seen anything of Grace Prescott for the longest time, longer than he’d like. It explained why running into her was such a surprise for him - but it was definitely a delight. He got dress quickly, not giving much though to his apparel before leaving the house and making his way down to her familiar house. He was still debating whether or not it was a good idea to see her though. Considering their history, they definitely had lines that weren’t meant to be crossed, except to Dylan, they were all blurred lines.
He knocked on the door a few times, only to be greeted by a familiar voice through the wall. The boy threw his head back, letting out a hearty laugh. That was so Grace, he thought, shaking his head in amusement before he heard the locks switching and the knob turning. Another few moments and he was finally facing his long-missed friend, an odd sensation washing over him as he met her eyes. He felt happy, yes, but wasn’t there something missing? A small smile spread across his lips as he finally pulled her in for a tight hug.
After finally slipping her jeans on, she skipped over to the door and unlocked it, letting it swing open. "Dylan!" A grin spread across her face as they stood silently before Grace jumped up, wrapping her arms around the taller boys neck. She pushed herself up on her tip-toes as she squeezed her friend. Once the boy started letting go, she let herself fall back onto her feet. "I've missed you." She said, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
She stepped to the side, letting him into the room. "Its a little messy, you know what I'm like, I don't clean up until like.. 5 minutes before someone comes over." She giggled, kicking a pair of shoes aside on her way to her bed. "You wanna watch a movie? I'm sure they've got The First Time on Netflix" She joked with a little wink, knowing the boy would probably rather not watch himself have sex.
I've Missed You ☁ Grace & Dylan
After hearing that Dylan was coming to the show, Grace was nervous to see her old friend again. But after speaking to him, all the nerves went away and she was filled with relief. She'd missed him a lot and when he said he'd missed her too, it was like a weight was lifted off her shoulders. She was in desperate need of Dylan-time so she invited him over to her room to watch movies.
Of course, being Grace, she didn't plan ahead and minutes before Dylan was going to show up at her door, she was rushing around, getting changed into something more acceptable, making her bed and finding good movies to watch. She was in the middle of pulling up her pants when there was a knock on her door. "Just a minute, I'm... Not decent!"
Definitely, definitely. You won’t be waiting too long.
Yay, I'm excited.
Doesn’t mean I wouldn’t miss you. Haha, that’s fine, I can go to your place if you want.
Well, I'm glad you missed me. Yeah, awesome. Just swing by my room whenever, we can watch movies or something.
Of course I did, are you doubting that? I’d love to hang out with you soon, anywhere.
I doubted it a little. I mean, we haven't spoken in a long time. Sweet, we could go to.. The beach? Or uh.. I have no idea, I don't really leave the house.
Of course I do.. Thanks. Wow, it actually just hit me how much I missed you.
You missed me? Really? We should hang out, or something.. I missed you too.
I’m good, good, thanks, haha.. You still look great.
You think so? Aw, thanks.. You do too, Dyl.
It has been, hasn’t it? Wow, how are you?
It really has. I'm great, yeah, really great, how're you?
