Princess Charlene and Prince Albert attending Monaco's Red Cross Ball July 18 2026.
The Monte-Carlo Sporting Club dressed in gala attire to celebrate the 77th edition of the traditional Red Cross charity event, an unmissable event that brings together royalty and prominent personalities.
As expected, all eyes were on the Princely Couple. Princess Charlene dazzled the attendees, looking stunning in a custom-made design by Elie Saab: a fitted dress with sculptural pleats in a golden tone that shone in the flashes, perfectly complemented by refined earrings by Ole Lynggaard.

Princess Grace of Monaco (ca. 1967)
July 2026: On the left is Princess Grace's EXQUISITE 10.48 Carat emerald cut diamond engagement ring, as on display in the Wedding of the Century exhibit at the Prince's Palace in Monaco. On the right is an exact replica of the ring, , as manufactured by Clarion Pell, for their Princess Grace collection.
I saw the original ring at a previous Princess Grace exhibit and it is AWESOME ! Although the Princess Grace Collection is no longer being manufactured one is able to find the reproductions of Princess Grace's jewellery, from the Clarion Pell's Princess Grace collection, on various online auctions.
We may not be able to own the real diamond ring but we can imitate life by acquiring a recreation, and feeling like a princess, even if only for fleeting moments in time !

WHEN GRACE KELLY MARRIED PRINCE RAINIER THROUGH THE EYES OF PRINCESS CAROLINE.......At the exhibition celebrating Rainier III and Grace Kelly's legendary wedding, their daughter Caroline wore a gold heart engraved with her parents' names entwined with her own. Photo credit: Jean Charles Vinaj/ipa-agency.net
Princess Caroline of Monaco certainly wasn't going to miss the opening of Mariage du Siècle, the exhibition at the Prince's Palace in Monaco dedicated to the ultimate royal wedding: that of her parents, Prince Rainier III and Grace Kelly 70 years ago.
Caroline wandered through the Palace's exhibition halls alongside her daughter, Princess Alexandra of Hanover, and her brother, Prince Albert II of Monaco in a necklace steeped in sentiment.

Caroline paired her all-white ensemble, a classic blouse and embroidered skirt by Chanel, with a heart-shaped pendant. The golden heart, dotted with small embedded gemstones is inscribed with the names of her parents — Grace and Rainier — along with her own, Caroline. Intertwined among the three is a large "R": her father's initial, and the letter shared by all three names.

The exact origins of the pendant, worn on a thick gold chain, are unknown. Some claim it was a gift from Rainier III and Grace Kelly to celebrate the birth of their first daughter, but there is no historical evidence to support this.
This may be the first time we've seen the princess wearing the piece — or if not the first, certainly one of very few — which raises the question of whether she dusted it off after decades to honor her parents, the stars of the exhibition, or whether she commissioned it herself, or received it as a gift.
These are all hypotheses. But one thing is certain: with this small yet significant stylistic choice, Princess Caroline of Monaco expressed her love for her parents — carrying them in her heart, in every sense.

Preview Screening at the Prince's Palace The documentary film *Mariage à Monaco* (Wedding in Monaco)—marking the 70th wedding anniversary of Prince Rainier III and Grace Kelly—will be screened on July 20 at 9:30 PM in the Cour d'Honneur of the Prince's Palace. The discovery three years ago of about a dozen boxes containing the original film reels and outtakes from 1956 led to a preservation project for this iconic piece of the Principality's history.
The documentary's behind-the-scenes story, restoration, and analysis will be the focus of a film-lecture event, which will also present the 4K restored version of the film on the big screen for the first time.
Oh to be in Monaco for this special event !! MGM made a film of the wedding in 1956 BUT this will be a very special screening of the restored version !
Exhibition: "The Wedding of the Century in Philately and Numismatics" July 13 to October 15, 2026, at the Museum of Stamps and Coins To mark the 70th anniversary of this historic event, the museum invites the public to rediscover one of the most significant episodes in the Principality's modern history through the lens of philately and numismatics.
The royal wedding, uniting Prince Rainier III and American actress Grace Kelly, garnered unprecedented international attention. Watched by millions around the world, it played a lasting role in raising Monaco's global profile and inspired a wealth of commemorative items that now serve as true artifacts of their era.
The exhibition brings together a remarkable collection of commemorative medals, stamps, First Day Covers, souvenir cards, philatelic documents, and heritage objects, recounting how this extraordinary event was celebrated and preserved in the collective memory.
This new display follows on from the section dedicated to the "Belle Époque" of philately, presented at the Prince's Palace. Far beyond their documentary value, these items illustrate the essential role of philately and numismatics as vehicles for heritage, the passing on of knowledge, and history.

Princess Grace of Monaco meets with St. John Paul II at the Vatican in 1978. As Pope Leo XIV prepares to visit Monaco March 28, 2026, Americans will no doubt be reminded of another U.S.-born Catholic monarch: the former American actress who became a princess and lived in Monaco following her marriage to its Prince Rainier III on April 19, 1956. She reigned until her untimely death in 1982 at age 52 following a car accident caused by her having suffered a stroke. (OSV News photo/CPP)
