In honor of #IndependenceDay weekend, Mars made another one of his signature cocktails. This one is called the "Crispus Attucks" - named after the Black man who is known to have been the first death of the Boston Massacre & the first casualty of the American Revolution. We stopped by @mcachicago on Tuesday for their weekly summer jazz concert series and stumbled upon an AMAZING exhibition by the influential African-American artist, #KerryJamesMarshall. We highly suggest to everyone in the city (and those passing through during he summer) to visit. There are so many pieces and all of them are full of color, intensity, beauty and meaning. The exhibit has been highly acclaimed within the art world and been all over the place. You have until sometime in September before they move on. Get it while it's hot!!
