“Sounds like a good time, I’d be lyin’ if I said I wasn’t tempted. ‘Fraid I might jus’ hijack yer home t’vibe and eat snacks.” Hijacking in the playful sense, it just meant her showing up after being invited, of course.
Then her expression dropped again. “A…war? That don’t sound very cash-money. Might make my job a lil’ bit busier, y’know patchin’ up those who can’t get to somebody wit’ a strong healin’ quirk. That an’ th’flower shop ‘cause there’s always th’get-well-soon’s an’ uh, funerals.” Frith rubbed the back of her neck, giving a small smile.
“That’s…can’t say I ain’t ever heard’a possession, jus’, not in recent times I guess. But, how d’you feel ‘bout it? He treat ya bad or anythin’?” Not that she could really do anything about it, but, she was worried about her friend. Nothing out of the ordinary.
“And I woundn’t mind that! I can use some company, well actual GOOD company from time to time. All that I ask if you ever plan to ‘hijack’ my house, give me a heads up. Sometimes I can be a very busy man…”
“Yeah, I would imagine you’ll have your hands full. With villains now roaming the streets, a lot of folk are getting hurt. And there’s not a lot with healing quirks, so the ones who do will already have their hands full,” he said with a small frown. Not for the people getting hurt, but his friend getting busy and having her hands full.
“There were a good handful of hero deaths already, and there’ll probably be more. I killed a few heroes myself. But they’re dust so, don’t really got a body to put a flower on…”
“How I feel about it? I LOATHE it. Master is planning to perfect my body and take it over himself to use as he pleases. His old body is getting frail, he needed a new one. So he perfected me, used me, and now he’s gonna take my body,” the man growled and clenched his teeth for a moment. “It’s really annoying. He doesn’t even ask, he just takes…”
