Custom Lighting & Environment Mods for TS3

So here is the complete list of all the lighting mods I’m currently playing with.
(the pictures above are completely unretouched - no Reshade
UranesiaLightingMod_NOGreenSunrise+DefaultWater+BrighterNight by Nilxis : it’s the main lighitng mod.
Wasset_EnchantedEnvironment_Seperated by Wasset ; it change the appearance of both the sun and the moon (plus adding them a beautiful “halo”), of the clouds, rainbow and stars, and few other features. The original link on his page is broken, so I just uploaded it HERE
Improved Environmental Shadows by Simsi45 ; I’m using just the DYNAMIC file (the shadows respond more accurately to the sun’s position, letting them stretch further towards the horizon).
Shadow Extender by Lazy Duchess: it increases the draw distance of shadows and in addition improves the look of map view by making trees and other miscellaneous deco cast shadows, when they previously did not.
Snow but Better by Lyralei: instead of the snow replacement of Wasset, I’m using this one, more detailled. The terrain snow textures are entirely redone; Frosty windows and glass now has more detailed frost on it; it fix that annoying and ugly “Grass” patches.; Icicles have a new texture; Roads got bumpier and more detailed.
Reworked & Impreved EA lights by Simsi45: it modifies the lite resource for almost all the lamps, making the game a little bit more atmospheric and visually appealing.
Shader Tweaks by Lazy Duchess: this is a set of improvements and fixes to some of the shaders. The color of rooms will now contribute to lighting on Sims. Outdoor Sims skin lighting was slightly “flattened” to make Sim faces look slightly better. Bloom has been reduced significantly.

HolySimoly “Old Mason” Architectural set - converted from TS2 to TS3
My Fb friend Erwin gave me the idea to convert this beautiful set from HolySimoly , because it’s awesome!
(as Erwin said, “TS3 need more architectural stuff!”)
Also, I added some more stuff, to make the whol set much more complete. Hope you ‘ll like it. ;-)

Sinuous Fence TS1 style Fence for Spiral Stairs - for TS3
A sinuous fence, initially designed as complement for the spiral staircases.
Used in combination with the TS1 Monticello Balustrade, it allows you to create fascinating fences for your garden. I don’t know how many of you played the first chapter of The Sims saga, however - for the nostalgic sims-players or for all the TS3 players - the amazing town of Simsville is finally come back, with the fascinating Old Town, the frenetic Downtown, and a whole new neighborhood, full of rabbit holes and communitary lots (there are also many empty lots, ready for your building pleasure).

Meet Bob and Betty Newbie, Bella and Mortimer Goth, Frankie and Sylvia Mashuga, Mama and Elend Hick, and all the other beloved families who are waiting for you, ready for a new, nostalgic comeback!

Simsville is a 99% faifhful replica of the old The Sims town, as it was just few days before the arrival of the magician’s carovana of “Makin’ Magic” (the latest expansion pack oft The Sims): a weird hotair balloon is floating quietly over Old Town, while, at night, some strange lights appear just behind the mountains…
But don’t worry, forget those lights and go out with your date: ride a cab and drink a Martini at Hedman’s Highway, or go to shopping at Landgraab Mall, or at Solana Towne Center!
You can also go swimming to SimCity Beach, buy an icecream at Barrett’s Boardwalk, and having a fantastic diner at Cory’s Place, or at Old Farm Square!
If you prefer instead a more quiete afternoon, visit Old Town with all its historical venues: Custer’s Market, for all your gardening needs, Pet Paradise (your pets will love it!), the Gothic Quarter, and many others.
You can also explore the surrounding area, strolling around the whole scenery, enjoying the calm, beautiful scenery…

SIMSVILLE SPECS:
- Populated world. medium size.
- Despite I built Simsvile using few objects from every TS3 expansion pack, the scenery itself requires just three of them: World Adventures and Supernatural fot the bridges, and Late Night for some trees.
- No Store objects required.
- I recreate many objects, textures, walls and floors from the old The Sims, mainly previuosly released: you don’t need to desperately download them, because they are all included in the CC file linked below, that I warmily suggest to use instead (get rid of the cc previously downloaded).
