Note: I’ve had multiple people telling me about problems with the sound or the video once the episode downloaded, so here goes:

because of the way I have to render the episodes, they can only be read properly by using VLC, so if you download them, use VLC and there shouldn’t be a problem with either the sound or the image :D

for it to be streamable (for the people who can’t/don’t want to download them), I have to render it a second, which downgrades the quality a whole lot, so if you plan on downloading the episodes, I suggest using the higher quality ones (such as this one here); they are a little bit heavier in terms of size, but much better in quality too

I have made two separate folders on my Mega so it’s easier that way (the link to the folders will be in the pinned post)

alright, so

hi! inaugural post for this blog I guess. this is where i will be posting the english subbed episode of Grand Hotel, as I saw a few people asking for it (and also, quite frankly, I am bored and I like doing subs)

a few things i need to say tho:

I am not a professional translator I am, and will always be, doing my best to make it as good as possible, but i cannot guarantee that the translations won’t be awkward at time, or even always 100% on point

I don’t know how fast I will be able to get these epsiodes up once again, i’ll do my best, but I am alone doing this, and the episodes ARE fourty five minutes long, so i don’t know how long it will take for each one to come up, especially once my classes at uni start back up on the 14th (plus, since my computer is a literal granpa, it will take forever to render and upload it, so let’s add that to the mix)

the first episode should be up tomorrow during the day (hopefully) in the french timezone (i wanted to render it tonight, but i’ve been at it all day, and it’s 1am, i just can’t keep doing it rn) and hopefully i should be able to post episode 2 by sunday night/monday morning depending on the rendering time

and thanks to @a-french-disaster for getting me the episodes, couldn’t have done it without you haha
