Club blocks kids from getting solos. They also promise choreographers Master Classes ($40-75 per dancer and about 300 on the team plus Pre Company another 100) and group routines (about $5-10,000). So the choreographers listen to Club. They give the solos to who Club sets it up for and not others. Now there are some like Sylvie Win who goes out and gets her solos on her own merit but she is Sylvie Win and most choreographers want to work with her. If you aren’t Sylvie Win or aren’t a Club favorite, it’s hard.

All of those mothers are loaded and can afford the solos from those choreographers but Club only makes it available to some. They also tell the parents they are not allowed to reach out to choreographers on their own. Big reason why Isla left.

I hope this doesn't mean no more Brittany solos

Collective lost Tenley, Karson, Kenny and Adalee and TONS more kids this past week. They’re all going to Khaos. Paige is a TOXIC owner. There is literally only a handful of kids left.

Oh, wow. I knew about Adalee and Kenny, but not Tenley and Karson... well, maybe Aspen's success and Lauryn's title will attract more kids

But Tenley leaving after how much success she's had with them is surprising

Lucia sleeps at the directors house at least 3 days a week. She is treated like her daughter. She gets everything and more. She got Ricky, Travis, Jordan, Chelsea solos in AZ. The director / “mom” arranges it all. Other top kids can’t even get one solo. Lucia was even their Clara when they have Harper, Kaia, and Bella who all significantly outplace and out dance her in ballet. And to say she is the only one who drives far? That’s crazy so many kids drive over 2 hours to get there. But Club is built on favorites. Too bad they don’t spread the love as there is a lot of talent. What baffles me the most is they don’t favor their best dancers at times. I mean they don’t do anything to help Kaia and she is so good and won NYCDA.

I mean, these parents are all filthy rich. If they want their kids to have those solos, I'm sure they can pay for them 🧐 other top kids def get solos from the same choreographers. It's the non main kids who are suffering

Stars don't seem to have as big of an amount of contenders in the mini and peewee division as much as in the teen and senior divisions though. Like they have one or another male and since there's not many male dancers in general they end up having the upper hand in those. And while they have a handful of great junior females right now, next year for almost all of them seems to be their last year as juniors so eventually they will move to teens. Which makes me wonder how will their junior category will look like after. Maybe now after nationals they are going to start recruiting new younger girls (that came out wrong 😂). I reckon they will want to prove they can have top 3/4 star dancers in all categories

tbh, stars' lack of big standouts in the mini/junior divisions is indicative of them pacing their dancers well

Salome doesn't even do competitions outside the full studio ones. And why? Because her parents are focused on her "musical career". You check her Instagram and the kid is being pimped to be like a mini jojo siwa, she's on TV all the time doing interviews and performing her songs (with her own teammates from dance town as backup dancers. Very weird and very smart of her parents. I highly doubt those kids are being paid, they are probably made to think being on TV is a great opportunity. So basically they have unpaid backup dancers that don't complain). She even does concerts. Kid is 9, almost 10. I mean...and I wonder how long will they still market her as baby salome. She'll be on her teens years singing for children still

Now, I'm not justifying them exploiting their kid, but surely you realize most child entertainers are teenagers/adults. Hopefully if she hits the teen years and decides she's no longer interested in it, they will let her stop

Our studio came from up north and traveled far to be there and we were invisible at TDA Orlando. Thy werent worried about us and I saw the studio owners everyone of them looked quite frazzled at all times.
