the funniest running gag is that when asgard is involved prisoners typically get their hands bound and maybe a collar, but for some reason Loki always gets waist chains or feet chains or some other variation of extra™ bindings and its… never actually addressed?? like, hello?? why does no one else get waist chains??

I had an epiphany this morning! A spiritual awakening, if you will.
I have realized that I may, in the past, have been considered somewhat of a “dictator,” “despot,” or even a “tyrant” or “oppressor” (though those words seem a touch harsh).
Henceforth, I will adopt a more lax form of rule, one that allows for what some may call “freedom”. I may even allow “freedom of the press” or “freedom of religion” (freedom to worship someone other than me). Of course, it will take some time for these changes to take effect. Bureaucracy, you know. Nothing much to be done. Things move slowly in government - particularly when I am not pushing motions through using edicts, vetoes, executive orders, etcetera, which of course would not be in the spirit of the thing. However, progress will be made! Eventually!
As a result of this shift in the mode of government, I feel confident that no one should see any need for revolution from this point on. The people will have a say in the government! As soon as that system has been enacted.
Of course, my approval ratings have always been sky-high. Everyone loves me. However, I have heard your concerns, and I intend to work towards solutions as quickly as possible while still retaining governmental stability.
