Merry meet, and welcome one and all to my blog. I am a hereditary eclectic witch, mountain witch. I have a familiarity to many different paths and styles. My great grand mother was an Appalachian root worker (hoodoo) as many call it now, my family has a long and extensive history of the arts and practices of majik and witchcraft. This submission actually came in back in October, from my Halloween drawing (Which was my original intention date of doing this)

They’re cute together aren’t they? and I love the pirate theme. I believe that @chernobogs-cauldron​ said he made these costumes for a Halloween party.

So it has been awhile since I have done anything on here. Been trying to get things together, and had some personal and family things come up.

Anyway. I wanted to do this back a few months ago and failed at it. I had submissions on both my website, facebook and tumblr of cute couples and wanted to give them a reading either together, or individually, and then life happened.

SO now, I figured being February, the month of love, I would choose. Perhaps the universe knows what it’s doing after all. 

So later today, perhaps with in the next hour, I will announce the lucky couple.

The Witch is Back

I haven’t been on in a long while do to some serious health issues and personal / family drama. However, as the title says, The Witch is Back. 

I am going to try to start updating more regularly and also getting back to what I had originally intended this blog to be about which was a place to help and nurture others. 

So now that i am back and up and running, please submit me any questions or anything you might have and I will respond. (If you intend for the question to be private, then please be sure to tell me that so as to not answer it publicly)

This is the disrespectful way that the people at the Rawley Springs Mennonite Church “upkeep” the cemetery. After speaking to a woman at the church she said they use their personal discretion to make it tidy and the people need to understand where they’re coming from and how she feels they should be able to go to the graves that have the flowers and trees in them, and rip them out to make it look “ Kemp and neat” and in my opinion was in her self being very disrespectful and very rude her tone and explanation. So anyone who has family friends and loved ones buried at the Rawley Springs Mennonite Church, share this and spread it around and even better say something to them about their disgraceful regards for the American flag and the fact that they just take things off the graves and pitch them. That they feel they should be entitled to mow off and up root flowers trees and bushes planted for our loved ones. I don’t think the problem lies in us who take to our loved ones graves but the narrow minded outlook of those who want to say they “up keep” the cemetery and do not do a very good job of it.

Absolutely appalling. How can anyone not only treat the American Flag this way, but also how can anyone be so disrespectful toward the dead and the family’s of the deceased. I am pretty sure there are laws forbidding the removal of anything from a headstone with out proper notification or request. This is sickening. I don’t blame you for being upset. 

I assume that since it is a Mennonite church that the caretakers are Mennonite as well. Total disregard for anything and anyone not of their belief structure. 

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, followers, help to circulate this post so that others may see what little sanctity is given to our departed by those who who claim to be about love and peace and the Lord. To show how stagnant these peoples outlooks are when it comes to other people and their grief and grieving.

I was devastated to realise that I’d mixed up the Earth and Water symbols once I’d finished, and contemplated removing the page and starting again. Upon reflection, I decided to keep it to symbolise the fluidity and changeability of the Elements and what they may represent to each witch, and that witches are not infallible, that we make mistakes, a fact which I think gets overlooked.
