let it be known that this is the original. if someone says they made it. they either mean they added to it or they came up with their own and they mistook my version for it.

i copied these by hand with the pen tool in sai using screenshots. because im not mentally well. i can recognize when it’s being used. and i love seeing it used!

funfact: if you have seen a mechari spamming curse words and making requests for others to cuss her up, that was me doing research. because the filter uses these symbols :p

WILDSTAR JUMPSCARE So a few weeks ago (months, really) I found these textures inside Wildstar's client files (first two images). There isn't a model left behind, JUST the textures. I thought they looked really cool, so I decided fuck it I'll try to recreate what the species might have looked like (last two images). The files are labeled as "Harradin_Female" and combined with the silver spear texture I found as well, I get the impression that these might have been the precursor to what ended up as the Falkrin (the big brutish vulture people, to jog your memory).

If the planets align and this post finds its way past an ex-Carbine dev, I would love to know more about the Harradin, and see any art they might have had.

this post gets on my nerves every time i see it those tags are fear mongering bull crap. Yes, it Could be an underground cave but its Extraordinarily unlikely. and i can find no sources for sink holes creating vacuums like this and or dug out tunnels.

its probably just a critters burrow.

the reason theres suction is because wind is blowing accross the other entrances and drawing air through. this how animal burrows avoid becoming co2 death traps while keeping cool. you still shouldn’t mess with it because like, thats a wild animals home and you dont know whats in it or how territorial it might be but the ground isnt going to eat you like an 80s Saturday morning cartoon. even if the burrow does cave in under you, they dont tend to be large enough for one collapsed tunnel to do more than mildly inconvenience your average adult.
