Tonight, I finally got to see Nimrods (the Green Day film) at the movies.

Loved every second of it, absolute masterpiece of a movie.

But the biggest highlight for me was the teen sitting next to me - the teen who was rocking out to every single song, singing, bouncing, chatting to their friend, and just generally having an absolute ball.

As the credits rolled, I leaned over to them and said that their enjoyment made my night.

I instantly made a friend, as we spent the next few minutes chatting about our love for the band, and the importance of enjoying things that you love (and be damned anyone who judges others for rocking out and enjoying their life).

I'm sorry I didn't catch their name...but we didn't need to know each other's names to enjoy the shared experience.
