today’s the 10th anniversary of mlp:fim. i cannot even begin to imagine how different my life would be if i never got into this show and started making fanart in high school. it was the first time i had the confidence to post my drawings online, and my skills grew so much while drawing silly fanart. i made so many lifelong friends. i got to fly halfway across the country to be on a horribly disorganized con panel. i finally took the first steps towards my career as a game designer by making a fangame. it was also absolutely the first step towards me figuring out i was trans. and of course, through pony tumblr i met anthony, and we’ve now been dating for over six years

so naturally, for such a special occasion, i had to go back to my roots with some flutterdash

Still in my Heart Time Flies, but I still love this show and this wonderful blue horse. This is a redraw of something I posted exactly 7 years ago. That drawing can be found at this link if you wanna see the old one It means a lot to me because it was my first image to ever get on Equestria Daily and at the time it really did motivate me to keep drawing. Tank Nuzzles   I’d have to go back and rewatch every Dash focused episode to really say which one was my favorite but, Tanks for the Memories is always one that comes to mind, if only because I sorta cried happy tears to see her pony self finally get a solo song. Thanks for that, was worried she might never get one. Awesome as I wanna be was nice but it’s not pony Dash
