Please Share this Post!!! June 24th 2018 Grappling X Adult and Master’s Championships GX is proud to announce our Adult and Masters championships on June 24th in San Diego. In preparation for those athletes that are competing in the Masters World in August GX wanted to host a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournament that will provide a safe and fair enviroment for competitors to get ready to compete in August. We choose the date of this tournament so that the athletes are able to come compete in a double elimination tournament in which the Rules, Score, Age and Weight Division are the same as the Worlds. What is great about a double elimination tournament is it allows athletes to get more matches and mat time to be better prepared for August. Another special feature is we will be filming and posting 100% of the matches to YouTube for free. We want the athletes to use this event and the videos to aid in their preparation for the Worlds. With the June 24th event being 8 weeks before the Worlds, athletes will be able to watch and study their matches and use that information as a priceless tool to aid in their preparation for their training camp over the next 8 weeks. Grappling X prides our self in providing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to the community at a very reasonable price; the early registration price is ONLY $45. Our goal is to add this tournament into the annual tournament schedule at the start of the summer and with the full support from the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu community we will be able to meet our goal. We have been planning to host this event for the past few years and with the addition of all the new mats, computers, and screens there is no better time than now. With the new additions we are able to run the tournament with the digital format and competitors will be able to access all the information from competitor lists, Online Brackets, and event schedules that will automatically update. One of the most amazing assets about the automatically updating brackets is that athletes access the information and use the updating schedule as a tool to aid in the warm up process to help peek your body so athletes are able to reach their goals.
