Tumbling slightly out of the car, you managed to stay upright and began walking towards the small shop in front of you. The neon signs were no constellations, yet you navigated by them just the same. It was as if every vivid summer petal had been sacrificed, crushed and squeezed into that store sign so it could shout louder than the moon and stars. And you were extremely thankful for that as it was currently 2:27 am and your eyes had fogged up, hazy with a lack of sleep.

Turning back for a second, you saw George trudging flimsily behind, acting as if his feet were made of iron, weighing him down. You paused your advancement towards the store and waited as he languidly lumbered closer to you. Holding out a hand for him to take, you waited until his cold, pale skin grasped onto yours. Then hand in hand you both made your way towards the shop, watching as the gap-toothed neon open sign sneered at the bleak car park.

It wasn’t long until you felt the warm glow of the synthetic store lights on your skin as you stepped through the grime-ridden door. Countless aisles stood anonymously, lined in perfect symmetry. Tonnes of fresh produce were crammed onto each shelf, yet no customers to purchase and only one member of staff occupied the desolate supermarket. You pulled George a little bit harder till you were met with a grunt as he stopped to get a trolley for the both of you. Stuffing a pound coin in the slot, he unclasped the chain keeping the shopping carts all together and rolled it over to you. Grabbing the trolley with one hand and George’s palm with the other you continued your pursuit into the grocery store. George let out a low chuckle, noticing the way your pace picked up as you nonchalantly sprinted past the vegetables and then again past the fruits.

Making your way to the snack aisle, you let go of the trolley, letting it trundle along the plain tile flooring going down its own path. The selection was varied and you and George raced down the aisle picking up random bags and flinging them in the vicinity of your cart. Piles of sweets, biscuits and crisps were now forming a mound as they were continuously being hurled. 

Abruptly, a loud screech blared and echoed throughout the deserted store as your worn converse slid to a halt in front of a specific item. Shuffling up behind you, George stopped too, a smile breaking out on his face in concurrence with yours. Looking at each other for a simple split second, you both grabbed three packs of the ramen noodles and tossed them on the side of the food mountain, a particular section George had named ‘Gogy Gradient’ making you giggle at the poor choice of words. 

Then with bliss he disclosed and declared the name of the top of ‘Gogy Gradient’ - y/n peak. Though it was silly, you felt a warm peachy glow illuminate in the pit of your stomach and your nose crinkled like tissue paper. As you shook your head light-heartedly at George, he took no notice and instead tried to push the now bulky and cumbersome trolley to the service point. Noticing his clear struggle, you lilted over to help, both of you enforcing every last dribble of energy to try and shift the cart.

After an age of pushing, you finally made it to the tills, only one in service with a seemingly ancient man as the cashier. A wizened face peered out from under a wedge of blue hat, which was the only thing on his otherwise bald and mottled scalp, save a sparse fringe of white. His eyes were so heavily lidded and weighed down with wrinkled folds that it was almost like talking to someone asleep, yet he was quite alert. He took no time in scanning and sliding every snack, till he was finished. Not seeing the last ramen noodle pot tumbling towards him.

“Will that be all?”

You had been expecting the croak of old age but his voice was more like a sergeant major, strong and distinctly upper class. Frozen to the spot with confusion over his voice, you both forgot you had to reply.

“Oh, oh um y-yes thank you sir” you stuttered out, still in shock by his gravely tone, “oh wait sorry, sir, you missed something, so sorry”

No words were spoken, only the long overworked sigh that emanated from his mouth.

He quickly scanned the last pot, wasting no time in getting your total up, which George rapidly tapped his card and payed for, letting you both leave the store not long after you had entered it.

The streets of London were unsurprisingly clear for a Monday evening, or rather Tuesday morning, at now 2:56 am. You were able to drive home in no time, which was convenient as George had spent the entire time moaning about how hungry he was and how much he wanted a cup of warm noodles and how he wanted to finish watching the film that he had put of pause just to go and get food. The whole 10 minutes it took to get home he spent moaning and groaning about something new and you just listened. You loved just listening to George talk, whether he was ranting or telling you about coding or just talking about absolutely nothing, it meant everything to you. So as you drove back from the small Tesco’s a tiny smile had weaved its way onto your face.

Finally though, you got home and while George put the stuff away and started the ramen, you relaxed into the sofa and suffocated your body in blankets. Each soft quilt felt fluid against your skin as the fluff soothed you to comfort. Soon enough, George pottered back over to you with two hot steaming mugs. The questioning look on your face led to him explaining that the two of you had ran out of bowls and so he resorted to the closest option because he was ‘not giving up his ramen for a stupid lack of bowls’. The sass in his tone made you lightly chuckle as you took the mug from his hands along with a fork and shuffled across the sofa to let George join you. Playing the movie, you threw your legs into a criss cross and brought the mug towards your mouth, taking a sip of the broth.

“Tastes good Georgie” you smiled, taking in how adorable he looked, covered in blankets fiddling with a forkful of ramen noodles from a mug.

“Of course it does, I made it.” He quipped back, a grin plastered on his face and his left eyebrow quirked.

You simply giggled back and placed your mug down, letting your body fall against George’s, tousling his hair gently. His lips allighted on your cheek like a dew freckled petal caught in a breeze, so soft and with the smallest hint of coolness. Then he peacefully watched as a carnation blush blossomed across your smiling cheeks. You only cuddled further into his body, snuggling up against him, chest to chest, your heartbeat slowly caught up to his, as if your bodies reacted simultaneously to your warm touch.

You were stuck in the liminality of a slumber and reality as you felt your consciousness ebbing away, and your thoughts, as clear and concise as they were mere moments ago, were coming to an end. The speckled flooring of the train drugged your mind and wooed you into a state of exhaustion with each bundled ball of bubblegum carving another strip of energy from within you. The repeated rock of the carriage you and Dream were sat in was only lulling you further, along with the hum of the wheels continuously chugging down the worn track. Each blink was slower than the last and your head began to slowly droop onto Dream’s shoulder, the sudden contact making him jump. The sickly, grey walls that enclosed you dulled everything down, for a moment, making the world black and white with shades of grey. The only glow was from the long lights above you, their susurrous buzz wafting into your ears, making your hearing fuzzy like a small, dusky pompom.

The one thing keeping your eyes from fully closing was the music encasing your right ear in a euphonious song. The prominent twang of Shakira’s voice injected you with a rush of enthusiasm as the melody began to swirl around your hips and they flexed to either side along with the beat. A chuckle from the body next to you made your head flick up off of his shoulder. His grin had formed due to the feeling of your hips moving as the words ‘hips don’t lie’ flew through the wires of your earphones. Then, you began to feel his body pressing up more against you and then further away as it shyly winded to the song.

You were both sat there alone in the carriage of a monotone, grey train, letting both your hips and torso twist and shake to the rhythm that Shakira’s upbeat song brought. With wide smiles creasing lines across your face, you made eye contact with each other, realising the silliness of your state. Though the exhaustion of your minds left you there not caring in the slightest. Letting this new found freedom control your body, it began to roll slightly on the seat below, leaving Dream to let out loud, hyped exclamations as he tried to stay moving his body while watching yours.

A flat uniform voice brought your attention away from each other’s swaying bodies and to the fact that your stop was after the next one. You were retuned to the dreary reality of your situation as Shakira’s words slowed and the melody faltered until it ended, a pause sounded before the next song played. Your head had sank on to Dream’s shoulder once more as his tilted to rest securely on top of yours and his hand moved into your lap to fiddle with your fingers.

As his fingertips twisted your ring that was turning exceedingly more green, the mellow beginning of pluto projector filled your ears and in an instant your mood changed, along with the atmosphere between you and Dream. It became more delicate and his hand grasped yours gently. You squeezed gingerly in an attempt to soften the space. Beside you, Dream began to hum along with the tune, making you smile kindly as you stared at him in the reflection of the scratched, grimy window.

He beamed down at you, kissing the top of your head lightly before letting your eyes close to the rosey melody, as he listened out for your stop.

Bumps and Bandages- Quackity

A clatter thundered throughout the room, the floorboards vibrating gently with your fall. Soon after a small giggle resounded and your arms flopped beside you as your body relaxed, for the second time that day, into the floor. Letting your head tip back and your bruised legs soften against the mahogany wood, a sigh of slight pain escaped your lips. Your ankle had rolled underneath your leg like a pinball trundling around the little game. The skin of your ankle was crimson and puffed out like a proud chest. It was sure to swell even further you thought as another groan passed your lips.

Taking your attention away, you heard a patter of feet scampering down the hall. A jittery knock osciillated through your door and the quiet mumbles of your worried boyfriend sounded behind the plank of wood.

“Amor, you okay?” Hs voice lilted into your ears.

Your mind cringed at the thought of him having to race away from his own stream just to check on you. The caring tone weaved into his words sent a flutter of embarrassment to float through your body.

“Uh yeah of course, just tripped again, nothing serious, you can go back to your stream!” The discomposure and shame was clear in your voice.

“Okay, if you’re sure, I just need to do something not definitely not stream related, love”

“Yeah yeah please, have fun” you couldn’t help but smile slightly at his sweet words.

Again, you heard the pitter of his feet slapping against the wooden flooring as he ran through the house to his streaming office. Humiliation at your own clumsiness rippled through you and emanated in the atmosphere all around. Your fall replayed in your mind for minutes as your laid there uncomfortable on the floor, a numbing pain exploding in your ankle. Again, your eyes graced the joint. The only word quipping through your mind was ‘Oh’, the bruise was forming and it was much bigger than ever before. An amethyst tint was beginning to spread tenderly across your lower ankle. If it weren’t for the circumstances, the colour would have been pretty, though the lavender was all too familiar from all your clumsy trips, stumbles, tumbles, knocks and falls. Sometimes it felt as if the world was out to get you, all the sharp corners you had ran into had moved slightly to haunt your journey past them or your that your own shadow occasionally became real and stuck its foot out for you to trip absent-mindedly over it. The previous scarlett and violet had swirled to make a monotone magenta painted on your ankle.

Your eyebrows furrowed at the sound of Quackity yelling content farewells to his stream. His words being slightly fuzzy, your ears strained to listen and make out whether or not he was actually ending. Once more the guilt-ridden sensation swelled in your stomach, he was saying goodbye to his chat and you were the reason. If only the sound of your trip hadn’t resonated through the walls.

Soon enough the low taps of his feet flew back into your ears and you knew he was making his way back to you. You were currently still lying on the floor as you had been for around 10 minutes. With a miniature creek, the door swung open and your boyfriend stood, looking slightly taller in the weirdly small door frame. A tender smile curved into your lips, Quackity returning it to you. Without any words being said he took a few steps towards your body and held his hand ready to aid in pulling you up.

With a stable hand fixed to the delicate floor, you swivelled your tired legs around, bringing your ankles up and directing your weight onto them. Nearly tripping over yourself once more, Quackity quickly stepped forward, steadying your body with a teasing grin on his face. Standing up was a struggle, but you managed it with a slight wobble in the knees and his protective arm shielding you from your subsequent fall. You both walked softly over to the bed, and when there you let your body collapse against the warm blankets. Sure, you were being slightly over-dramatic, but Quackity didn’t seem to mind so neither did you.

For the first time, he looked at your injury, gasps left his mouth along with small mumbles of it being your worst fall yet. Not sure of what to do, you watched silently as he ran to get the first aid kit from the bathroom. When he had returned, he clumsily dropped the green box on the floor and watched as the contents all tumbled out onto the floor. Forgetting about the rest, Quackity just reached for the bandages and began to ‘expertly’, as he said, wrap the fabric around your swollen ankle, making small comments about how your ankle was buffer than him now.

For just a moment, he looked in your eyes and the small smile teasing his lips, you realised how much he really cared. Joy flushed through you as you grinned widely at Quackity. He had finished securing the bandage and was now tossing all the other supplies eloquently into the first aid tub. The smile hadn’t yet left your face as you held your arms out to him, quietly asking for a hug.

“Well I think I deserve it”

“Eh I guess you could pay me for literally saving your life through your cuddles. You could have died y/n” the teasing tone was back in his voice.

He laid down next to your letting you shuffle around and relax against him, before he began to pull you close. He welded you into a state of felicity and halcyon with his dulcet whispers. Soon the lassitude enveloped you and serene huffs left your lips.

hey :) i wrote this a while back and it has been in my drafts for ages because it felt too unrelated to Karl for me to post, but i really like some of the descriptions and it was like a descriptive test or practice for me to just try and improve my detail!! i thought i would post it anyway as i do kind of like it, but sorry there isn’t more actual Karl content i guess is what i’m trying to say! have a lovely day <3 + send in requests!!!

Change is good right? Your mind pondered over that thought for a while as your hand sifted through your hair, each auburn curl coiling round your stained fingers. My hair looks good this colour right? Your gaze fell to your coloured hands, the permanent red glaring like the hands of a crook caught in the act.

Staring back up into the mirror, you saw your cheeks wore the same cardinal colouring. So did you eyes, bloodshot from crying. Just last week you were fine, trudging through life at a steady pace. But that’s the thing about depression. It’s silent. You’ll never really hear it coming. It doesn’t tumble around the kitchen at night smashing glasses, it doesn’t wail loudly as it creeps up to your door, it doesn’t emanate a siren before it seeps into your mind, intoxicating it like a drug. But then, it’s suddenly the loudest sound in your head. It constantly runs off to dark corners and retuning with reasons why Karl left, why you aren’t good enough, why you were never good enough.

Sure maybe it is a bit silly of you to think that changing such a minuscule element such as the raw colour of your hair would make it go. Make the tone-dead voices leave. Nonetheless, you were perched there, crimson locks surrounding your face, and you felt almost together. You may have been lonely, but were you alone? Perhaps not, you of course would like to think not. You’d like to think that as solitary and separated you may feel that in reality you were drowning in an ambience of love.

Though since Karl had walked out shouting a plethora of brutish words, that seemed like a less and less tangible reality. It was for the best though. Years and years you had spent trying to make him the one; years trying to chip at and smooth down his personality. Two years, twenty four months dedicated to sanding him down to perfection, to removing any quirks or temper issues he had shown.

However, love shouldn’t and doesn’t work like that. So, when the somber grey message flashed through your phone, a deep wave of pure relief crashed over you, spilling into each and every crack that he had shattered into you. It warmed you gently. For a moment, you were calm, then the guilt of your happy reaction flushed into you and a ball of grim, sticky remorse tumbled round your stomach.

Only a few hours later did the subdued sorrow flood you as realisation finally hit, kicked and punched, leaving your body bruised. The fathomless heartbreak cracked every bone in you as melancholy slowly glued each one back together. Since that moment, it got worse, piling up, crushing your mind, forcing you into a state of nadir. Your relationship with Karl had been a parody of perfection, yet the bounded, few sentimental times you sporadically shared were so intensely amorous, it made up for every cut-throat word, cold tear and cruel toxicity. His cobalt blue eyes and shaggy brown hair had now propelled you into a hot frenzy of despair, yet no longer would you let this occur, it was eating at you alive.

Howbeit, it may of been small, looking at yourself in the mirror, a small twinkle glittered in your eyes leaving a flush of bliss race through you. Maybe red was your colour after all.

George had never been a particularly vocal person; this proven by the way his grip on your hand had gotten silently tighter over the past minute as he dragged you away from the area of the beach you had previously been lying on. His face was tense and with furrowed brows he hauled you for an alleged trip to get ice cream. You had no idea what was going on when he just suddenly tenderly tapped your shoulder and asked you to come with him to the cafe, then not waiting for an answer before beginning his mission to remove you from the premises.

Taking a moment to assess the situation you pondered over the obscurity of George’s actions, letting your feet slow and your hands squeeze his, a signal you had stopped. He turned to look at you and you noted how his face was rigid with harsh lines of anger and distress. Your thumb began to gingerly rub against his palm in an attempt to calm your poor boyfriend in a clearly aggravated state.

“Hey, honey, look at me what’s wrong?” Your tone soft and delicate

George’s eyes still remained staring at the dusky, slate floor of the steps leading you both away from the sand. The grave pattern of the stone only upset George further as the beating heat and cacophonous noise from all around intensified his state. His mind was a turmoil of protective thoughts.

“Georgie, please tell me, what’s wrong? Why did you drag me all the way over here? Love, what happened?”

His eyes finally graced yours, the grip on your hand tightened even more as his other curved around your waist pulling you into a soft hug. Finally letting go of your other hand, his fingers caressed your neck before fiddling with the ends of your hair. Your arms languidly curled around his neck as you melted into his touch, confusion still swirling through your mind.

“They were staring.” His solum, gravely words made a melancholy sigh emanate from your mouth

“Who was?” Your words came out shaky and you weren’t completely sure you genuinely wanted to know the answer.

“The old group of men, they put their shit right next to us just so they could fucking perve on you. They were all fucking looking y/n it was disgusting, it was like you were raw meat or one of their bloody beer bottles. You were asleep for crying out loud and all they could do was stare at your fucking tits. I’m so sorry love, I should have said something. I wanted to yell, fuck me, I wanted to just kick all of their heads in, but I just needed to get you out of there.” George rabbled on fuming, vulgar language being the last thing on his mind, his quivering words brought a deep shame to your stomach, like a sharp punch inducing waves of pain.

“Sadly, I can’t say I’m not used to it, but thank you George, you did the right thing”

You felt his breathing stop for a few seconds at your reply. The only action was he pulled you much closer than before snuggling his head into the crook of your neck and kissing you lightly there.

“Well, after that lets just say the ice cream’s on me” George half-smiled, trying to uplift your spirits slightly and his own too.

Though he was left unsuccessful as your arms slid away from around him and up to cover your chest. A forced, limited smile graced your face as your now sunken, drooped eyes glossed over at the thought of men looking at you like that. The once sturdy legs that stood below you felt like jelly and your whole body felt uneasy. It was as though it was crawling with an infestation, each bug a different pair of creepy old eyes staring at you. Hair stuck on end, goosebumps prominent, your mind congregated with gut-wrenching thoughts, a sticky repugnant gloss slicked over your skin, swarming at your chest, the main area of objectification. You wanted to collapse and huddle into a small ball until all the gross men in the world kicked the bucket, met their expiry date, perished or fucking died, however you want to say it.

Taking a few steps away from the mahogany haired boy in front of you, you strayed to sit on the cold grisly steps, freezing in the chilly shade. He followed. Perching on the stair right next to you, your head fell to his shoulder as one tear dribbled down your cheek, your mind began swearing to not let any others spill over. Hearing your quiet sniffles George immediately twisted his head, taking your face in the palm of his hand, wiping the roaming tear away. He removed your hands that were desperately trying to hide your chest and instead forced them around him once more, taking your whole body in another deep hug. You hugged back, letting your emotions pour out through the tightness of your hold.

“I hate it George, why are they such weirdos, why the fuck do they think they have any right to do that to me, make me feel like this?”

“I know I know, I hate them too, you’re so much more than just a body darling” his words were sweet as his lips lingered on the top of your head, leaving small little pecks.

Hastily peeling off his hoodie, he tossed it into your lap for you to wear.

“Shall we just pack up, go home and cuddle?” He whispered into your scalp.

“Please” your quiet reply made George shoot up, taking your hand in his before speedily letting go to allow you time to slip his hoodie on.

Returning to your spot on the beach, George started collecting all of both of your stuff. With the time you had spare you took a deep breath and chose to just go and quickly look at the gross old men. A few steps to your right revealed that they had in fact disappeared, probably in order to find more alcohol. Shouting George over, he looked at you watching you giggle over your idea.

“What are you thi-“ before George could finish his question, your feet had started to boot loads of sand all over their stuff. Grabbing the spade that the child in George had bought earlier on, you took heaps of sand and propelled it into the wet bathing suit currently attempting to dry on the colourful windbreaker.

A few minutes after your destructive streak began, the whole section had been entirely covered in sand. You hoped with every bone in your body that it would cause them the most pain to clean it all up. George had just watched in amazement as you took all your anger out on these men’s belongings, proud of how insanely good your spade-throwing aim was. You stumbled back over to him, letting your tired arms drape across his waist and with all his might, he picked you up, letting your body sling across his as he carried you off of the beach, placing you onto the stone sea wall. He positioned himself between your legs then let a single kiss fall onto your lips as he hurled a camping chair over your head and into the beach hut behind you.

The sun washed over the sky, cascading a kaleidoscope of warming colours above you. Feelings of adoration felt like silk against your skin as they wrapped you up in a calming cuddle. It was a quiet Thursday evening, 6:41 pm to be exact, and the sweetness of the newly June air fluttered all around. Grass laid below you waving in the gentle breeze with the lilacs at the end of the garden. Their petals smiled a periwinkle grin and their jade leaves swayed.

From behind, small shuffling sounds could be heard making you turn your head gingerly in your camping chair. With his cute, little slippers, George padded over to the chair next to you. Taking in his appearance you noticed he was still in his pyjamas, a plain black shirt and blue, tartan, baggy trousers. Yawning slightly, he plopped into the chair and instantly started to hop his chair closer to yours. After a couple mini jumps, his chair was closer than you thought was physically possible. As he leaned across your body, his hands emerged from his beige jumper and soon enough they were grasping at the cream blanket currently submerging your body in a pit of warmth.

“Oi!” Was the only thing that came from your mouth after you realised what your boyfriend was trying to do.

“Please y/n, I’m begging, I’m practically already frozen, is that what you want? I’m literally going to die, I will freeze to death and they are going to have to put that on my death certificate. My grave will literally say ‘here lies goergenotfound who froze to death because y/n didn’t want to share their huge warm blanket with their lovely, kind, attractive, cool, epic and really really cold boyfriend.” George rambled on, a teasing tone flowing through his words.

However, you would not let his cries of frostiness coerce you out of the amenity of the blanket you were snuggled into. The cynical nature of your mind pushed you to laugh at his stubborn pout and you denied his access to your blanket with alacrity.

“Please, I’m begging you y/n, please” he continued.

A moment of weakness swooned you as his chocolate doe eyes bore into yours, your grip loosened on the fluffy blanket. George noticed this and fully took the opportunity as he yanked the soft fabric out of your hands leaving you gasping while the freezing breeze blasted at you and blew every last whisper of heat away.

“GEORGE!!” You voice boomed with displeasure, “get here right now you prick”

Looking at where George once stood, you noticed he had taken off and now was running aimlessly down the garden, when he reached the bottom you knew he would have nowhere to go. As he edged closer you slowly rose to you feet and began stretching your legs to prepare for the next minute. His body was now crouched with a cream blanket wrapped around it, hiding behind the soft lilacs. Bending down to put your deep brown crocs into sports mode, you took a deep breathe before returning to your previous position.

Letting out a loud war cry, you began to sprint down the garden to the spot where George was currently perched. His eyes widening rapidly, he leapt up, trying not to trip over his slippers. George’s slim body began to try and weave around you letting the cream blanket ripple wistfully in the evening air behind him. Though he tried, you swerved in front of him, making him begin to abruptly halt his movements, forcing him to fall on the ground as his slippers slid below. Grabbing onto you for support, George misjudged your strength as he pulled you down next to him.

With a thump, you both laid tangled on the grass giggling horrendously. Both of your smiles could be literally heard for miles. His arms tenderly slung themselves around your waist and pulled you closer to him, then they heaved you on-top of his body. 

This was your chance. Your arms stretched to the cream quilt that had softly flopped onto the grass earlier. Once your fingers felt the soft fabric they gripped it and you jumped to you feet leaving George groaning in confusion below you.

“Yeah that’s right Mr.NotFound, you can suck it! Fuck you Georgie” you quipped, letting George roll his eyes at your pettiness.

Allowing him to stay strewn on the ground, you wandered back up to the camping chairs at the other end of the garden and cuddled into the cream fluff. The sun had set a while back leaving you to just stare at the stars that were beginning to unveil themselves around you. Slowly he waddled up the garden, joining you again and thus you chose to sit on top of him. George permit you begrudgingly as it meant he got the soft blanket as well as it secretly meaning he got to hug and kiss you whenever he pleased, which to him was the biggest, most precious bonus.

With a small smile ghosting his lips, Dream watched you silently. There you were, laid strewn across the bedsheets, a golden shine dancing over your soft features. The gleaming stream of light glided across your skin, worshipping every inch. Curling around your waist it emanated a glow of affection that seeped through your skin and enveloped your heart in a tight hug. His grin only grew as he looked down to see the hoodie encasing your body, the crinkled smile imprinted on the black fabric unveiling the extent to which it had been worn.

Comfort swooned Dream as he sighed softly, breathing in the familiar fragrances of you that swallowed  him. He wanted to scream exclamations of adoration and love, yet his voice fell silent in fear of waking you up.

Shuffling quietly in the bed to face you, his fingers languidly traced your stature and his breathing relaxed to a steady pattern. Your hair was tossed messily over your pillow and your face looked at utter peace, other than the small huffs that left your mouth every couple of seconds.

One particular strand fell softly onto your cheeks, leaving dream with no choice but to delicately dust it out of your face. The feeling of him gingerly touching your face awoke you as the warmth swamped you. A small huff escaped your lips causing his eyes to flick to your features that were currently twisting in the discomfort of waking up. Hushed ‘shh’ noises replaced the previous silence as dream quietly tried to lull you back to a sleeping state. A pang of guilt rippled through him in waves as your muscles began to stretch, signalling you really had woken up.

As his arms wrapped round you like a vine, short sighs of delight left you and you burrowed further into his warmth. Tender kisses were shared before his lips again came in contact with your neck. This time it your turn to shift in the bed, letting your legs swing over and around Dream, you nuzzled you face into his neck and then chose to flop onto his body. A minuscule sigh followed by a short chuckle left dream.

“You’re the cutest thing I’ve ever seen y’know” he whispered into your ear, kissing your head softly.

“Well yeah of course” another chuckle left dream, leaving you to smile so hard.

“Unless you count George obviously” he retorted.

“Obviously” Your tone dripped with sarcasm as your legs that were wrapped around his torso squeezed him slightly, “But can little Georgie boy do this?”

Before he could react, your lips were secured firmly on his, as you put your full effort and focus on taking Dream’s breath away.

Finally letting him go, silence filled the room part from his little pants, causing your grin to expand.

“No, not quite” he smiled down at you.

Sapnap watched you while you ran out of the house to your car, shame seeping into every crack in his body as he saw your melancholy eyes turn back to the door once more. Wishing he had never lashed out at you, he felt his own body sizzle with a sense of internally reflected anger. All you were try to do was check up on him and he responded with a fiery fist of anger that slammed on his desk and rattled your stature.  

Earlier that day you had shuffled into his office with a glass of fresh water and a small snack wanting to replenish your boyfriend knowing that his editing was possibly taking its toll on him. What you were not expecting was for Sapnap to become upset with you for disrupting his editing and taking his lack of sleep, poor productivity and hunger out on you. Sadly however, he did. After ten harsh minutes filled to the brim with deep shouts of anguish from Sapnap, you whispered a small apology and with red rimmed eyes and an aching lump in your throat you scurried to your shared room.

A turmoil of anxious and self deprecative thoughts swirled about your mind as you tossed a few clothes into a bag planning to leave Sapnap alone for a bit to let him calm down and to not aggravate him any further. You weren’t sure whether to leave a note detailing where you were going or when you would come home. Choosing not to due to scarce time before he may leave his office, you just raced through the living room, slipping on the glossy wooden floors. The crash made Sapnap snap out of his own self-derogative distress after realising the cruel words he had said, no yelled at you, and he slipped out of his room to watch you run to your car, panic igniting inside him. Your lack of communication fuelled his unease and dread further and he began to text you until he recalled your current state of driving in a car and decided to wait so he wouldn’t distract you. 

All he wanted to do was call you and apologise over and over and over again, but his deep worry for your safety, you currently driving in a car, annulled his further actions. Sapnap solemnly trudged back into your shared room and he sank onto the bed letting sadness control him. Racing through his mind were the harsh words he propelled at you, each one hurtling past his thoughts in a clash to win the contest. 

His phone screen lit up the room and Sapnap grabbed it with such force he nearly tumbled out of his bed. Through blurred, teary eyes, he smiled in hopes of a message from you saying where you were, or that you were coming home or even just that you were okay. But no, it was just a stupid notification with a purple icon informing him that GeorgeNotFound was live. Stupid George. He sighed, throwing his phone across the room watching it land on the grey carpet while his thoughts were only on you.

Your eyes had been obscured by a constant stream of tears that fell over your cheeks like a fretful stream over boulders. No, it was not safe for you to be driving, but you really needed to be somewhere else and had no friends or family that lived close by. So you settled for just driving round. 

Stopping on a desolate car park, you just sat in your car and wept as you felt your phone vibrate in your cup holder beside you. The image icon showed a chubby little green blob, the profile picture you had for dream usually brought a smile to you lips, but not this time.

Trying to pacify yourself and your tears for the couple seconds you would need to tell dream that you were busy, you took a deep breathe and picked up the phone, clicking the answer button. His vociferously content voice sounded throughout your car as he greeted you warmly, asking the usual are you okays as one would when talking to a friend. When you replied, your voice faltered. The slight stutter in it revealed your upset, it let dream know something was not fine as you had just said it was five seconds ago. As soon as you began to lowly explain to Dream what had happened you got another call, this one from the man of the hour himself, Sapnap. 

Heart beating out of your chest, you told dream that you wold call him back in a second despite his responses and accepted Sapnap’s call. As soon as you picked up, he asked whether you were still driving and if you were safe. Breathing out small answers of no and then yes, you heard a slight sigh of relief from the other end of the call. Then after a short pause, a stream of apologies flowed out of his mouth and he tried to explain but not excuse his previous actions. Feeling your shoulders relax, you smiled reminding yourself that he did in fact care and that was all that mattered. After accepting to his apology, a tight air of silence surrounded the pair of you, before Sapnap speedily questioned your location worry thick in his voice. You didn’t want to let him know that you were just sat in a derelict car park a few blocks away from the house, so you just said that you would be home soon. And soon you were. Back in your bed with Sapnap’s arms plastered around you with his face pushed into your neck the occasional kiss sending tingles down your spine.
