Anakin Hates Sand
I have often heard people complain that George Lucas can't write dialogue. They especially bemoan Anakin's "I hate sand line". I however find that to be one of the most realistic lines. It is exactly the type of thing a social awkward person who is bad at small talk would say. So often in movies a character will extemporaneously give a monologue that has the exact right words to say. While memorable and quotable, this just isn't realistic. Give me more awkward, oddly worded dialogue that characters have to struggle to articulate , it would make it more believable.

Happy Birthday Mewtwo
How should we remember 9/11?
Today we remember 20 years since 3000 Americans were killed. Let us also remember the US military who died in the War on Terror as well as the over hundreds of thousands of Civilians (I tried to lookup the number but every source gives wildly different estimates but they tend to agree the number is in the hundreds of thousands.) who died as a result of the response. All of them should be remembered. I suspect we will still see the long term effects for decades to come. To take a quote form the article below"The terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 were acts of unspeakable evil. The lives taken were awful tragedies. But the evil and tragedy of 9/11 were only compounded many times over by how we reacted then and since."

Happy 100th Birthday to Winnie the Pooh!!
There is so much to the story behind it.
Yes I stole this (so credit goes to Campaign for Liberty) and yes his birthday was a couple days ago. But there seems to be a dearth of acknowledgements of the birthday of a man who has been warning about everything that is happening right now for decades.
We have spent more in the past year than the entirety of WWII, even when adjusted for inflation. Speaking of inflation, it is the worst it's been in decades, but I'm sure that's just a coincidence.
Stole this. I’m not Calvinist, (well not the first picture at least) but I thought this was funny.
All too true
