"Ew, you smell bad, have you tried to use some perfume?"

“No and I never will. Keep that shit away from me. And what are you? Chicken?”

When the tub was filled with steaming hot water, Graves got in, hissing and cursing as water met his skin. His skin would get use to it slowly, now it was just burning. “Yeah, I believe”, he grunted.

It took for while before they got to Kayle’s home. First thing one would notice that Kayle didn’t really have had time to clean recently. Books, tea cups and other stuff being all over the place and newspaper tower next to outdoor starting to reach ceiling. She kind of felt ashamed for leaving her house in such condition before leaving last time. She tried to also not to think about it too much, Malcolm didn’t really mind mess around him anyway, at least that is what image she had got of him after all the time of knowing him. “I’m sorry.. For this hurricane that seems to hit my home.” Kayle said quietly starting to pick stuff up from floor so he wouldn’t step on them by accident.

It had been a while since Graves was at Kayle’s home and what he remembered from it, it was less messier than it was now, but it didn’t bother him. “Looks like you have been busy”, he simply said and walked towards bathroom, peeling out of his clothes which desperately needed some washing too. He carelessly dropped them on the floor and started to fill the tub.

“I do enjoy booze, but not when someone smells like sweat, old booze, shit, sewer and other possible odors at the same time.” Kayle huffed and wrinkled her nose, “I can join you in the bath, if it makes it more exciting for you.”

Kayle let out deep sigh, “I guess I can.. If you find that necessary.”

“I think I lost my ability to wash myself so yeah, that’s necessary.” Graves said, quirking his eyebrow.

“I would never, ever, do such thing to you, sugar”, He said, his face cracking a bit because she acted so dramatic. He cleared his throat and covered his mouth to hide his grin behind, “but I like you.”

Graves kept his poker face while she was whining at him, laughing inwardly for her being a sore loser. This time he didn’t even cheat. “Babe, did you have too much wine?”

Graves snorted, “you definitely ain’t. Maybe that’s why you make go like this”, he said and moved closer to her, brushing the strands of hair behind her ear and touching her pointed ear after, “I think I deserved some good punch on my face. No hard feelings.”

“No you don’t… Okay, well maybe. But not by me. It was completely my fault and I shouldn’t have done it.” Kayle huffed, and light red color started to rise on her cheeks because his touch on her ear.

“Hm, if you say so.” Graves said. Whatever she said, he still thought he deserved that punch. Seeing her cheeks turning pink, he kept stroking her ear since he knew how much she liked her ears being touched. 

“I’m thirsty.”

“I don’t have anything to drink with me.” Kayle muttered, “And I think you really shouldn’t continue your bender for now but take a bath or something instead. Your scent.. Isn’t the most appealing.”

It was a big cat, and really cute too. Graves pursed his lips and had a quick look around before kneeling in front of the gorgeous beast, leaving an appropriate space between them.“Who’s a cute kitty, who?”

She sniffed at him. He smelled like smoke and alcohol, both smells which she didn’t like, but he seemed harmless enough for now. Slowly she padded closer, continuing to sniff at him, brushing her long whiskers against his hand.

Graves patiently waited the feline to approach him. She seemed curious about him, and getting closer he offered his hand to animal to be sniffed at. “You hungry? I have some dried meat but I think that’s way too salty for you.”
