Since nobody follows me on here, I can actually speak my mind.
Write poetically and angstilly about the things that make me feel something. The feelings that overpower my medication I take every night, a silent prayer daily to “be okay, be normal-ish.”
Peel off the aloof tendencies of hiding behind my beautiful things, my horse, my house, my adventures. They carry me until they don’t.
I’m sick of my trust fund friends, the ones who can perfectly pack a picnic but don’t know what sacrifice or grace is. What saving for years to build a house and slaving to do it yourself. How work late at night is actually a thing. There’s no mercy in their actions, just “what can you do for me today?”
The prayer of every good girl is “let me be myself, let me not feel guilty about what I want to do. I am enough.”
I am enough?
