“I’ll have to learn to forgive you. But I’m not completely there yet. I’m going to need more of an explanation before I can get to that point. And more time.”

“It has. I’ve missed a lot. I’ve missed you a lot. And not just even in a romantic sense. You were my best friend.”

“Yeah... I know... You were mine too. Made it even harder... I lost so many things that night.”

She met his eye and gave him a soft smile. “I will. Maybe we could catch up sometime?” She asked, tentatively.

"Y-yeah... that would probably be a good idea. It has been a long time... the longest we've ever gone without seeing each other..."

“That would be good.” She said, taking her phone out of her hoodie pocket and handing it to him.

He reached out taking the phone from her and typing in his number before handing it back. “Just call me or text me... whenever...” he told her looking to meet her eyes.
