#neverforget On this Patriot Day, we celebrate our nation's strengthen and resilience. Today we carry on, as Americans, and we do not give into fear from enemies foreign and domestic. Recognizing Caesar Chavez this Labor Day. Today was establish to recognize hardworking Americans. The people who have made this nation what it is. Although many Americans will celebrate at home today, there are workers who are at their posts, earning a minimum wage that barely puts food on the table. I feel as if we as a country have been going backwards not forward. It's 2014, situations like these pictures illustrate shouldn't be happening. I understand that there are problems going on across the world, but we forget about what's happening right here at HOME. Our country needs our prayers more than ever as well. We need to move forward as a whole and not as individuals. This is the United States of America and we have people in this country who don't feel safe or free. So many great leaders have fought for our piece of an American Dream! We need to love on each other as our Lord and savior intended. We need to pray for one another and be kind to our brothers and sisters. This isn't a White America, Black America, Asian or Latino America, this is the United States of America. This country has so many mix races, religions, so on and so on. Some people need to realize that and stop the HATE and judgement on each other.
