It's cannon assumed that Casper and the David we've met are not from the same dimension.

But was that confirmed in cannon?

It's presumed that the dimension in chapter 33, 35, 36, 37 is none of their home dimension. But I don't remember any testing to really confirm it.

The only one who has confirmed different life events is Ava, because that dimension's Ava went looking for the diner while still working for the think tank.

I don't remember anything coming up that makes it impossible for it to be anyone else's dimension.

This David could be Casper's David.

I don't need them to be.

What occurred to me is that Ex's little sisters figured out a way to test if people are from the same dimension. So it is a question that could eventually be answered.

Also, if they're not from the same dimension, want Casper and David to compare notes and see if there are any differences. Just 'cause.

Is it mare satisfying if Casper and Ava are from the same or different dimensions?

Just relistened to the Amelia Project/Midnight Burger mashup. And there's a part where they're discussing (1) that the diner doesn't usually drop them in such conspicuous places and (2) reasons that it did so.to get someone's attention

The diner repeatedly going to New Brunswick New Jersey.

The time we hear about is the 3rd time and they are in the middle of a cemetery. Not conspicuously inconvenient, but conspicuously illogical.

If that's not rolling up and shouting "get in bitch we're going to the mall." I don't know what is.

Something said Ryan (biologically Rebecca and Homelander's) son is the 1st known naturally born super.

Homelander is in his mid 40s and unless I missed something he's not the oldest super.

Is it explained somewhere about supers not birthing other supers? Or are supers sterile? Or did I read something wrong?

Aight, contains SPOILERS. Just putting my answer below as disclaimer and caution in case someone still watching the earlier seasons/other shows come across this.

This is what I remember or have heard/seen from The Boys, Gen V and The Boys: Diabolical.

V1 supes (soldier boy/vought rising supes era. Given to adults)- genetically modified. Either can't pass down abilities (one to one) or just has no document of offspring while being a V1 (traditionally)

Odessa V supes (Homelander & marie. Offspring of v1 supe given compound V during blastocyst/early embryo stage. Lab intervention) - genetically modified to cellular level. Can pass down the same abilities naturally. (Ex. HL to Ryan only)

Compound V supes (majority of supes) - Genetically modified. Can't pass down abilities traditionally to offspring. Offspring needs to be given compound v or temp v for the same or a slight variation of abiltiy of their parent to show. (Ex. Translucent & his son)

V24 supe (Hughie & Butcher) - genetically altered for 24 hrs. Can't pass down abilities to offspring. Offspring needs compound V to have a random/different ability compared to v24 ability of the parent.

Naturalborn supe (Ryan) - Naturally has V in their system. Directly inherits their parent's ability. V is part of their being.

Notes:

Supes are not sterile (it's all Vought propaganda).

Homelander is a rare exception (passing ability and low fertility).

Ryan is the result of a genetic V chain: V1 altered grandpa (Ben) and genetically modified V dad (John) to natural V (Ryan).

DNA link, personality, and health can alter the manifested abiltiy. (Hughie & his dad, Butcher, the V'd up animals, and the misfit supes from Diabolical)

As of 4/3/26 I have listened to all Midnight Burger episodes. Spoiler warnings as appropriate.

I forget what episode it is Ava declares Tico Brahe her ideal man (it's possibly in 2 episodes). But I think that's only because there are ways in which Ava is not self aware.

There is a reason she briefly chose Chad (besides baked goods), didn't choose Margarite (besides whatever Ava's sexual orientation is), and eventually chose Casper.

Work is work. She loves it. But what she really needs is someone who makes her world bigger, pulls her out of her head, and make her think of other things.

In "Ragdoll" we learn about the residents of the diner before Casper.

In "Some Guy" we learn of the sounds the diner added for Casper, Leif, Ava, Gloria, and the Mucklewans (and David depending on your interpretation).

Labooza's theory is that the sounds means they're a part of the diner now. That it "won't let them down."

Which begs the question. What happened to the people that came before?

Leif needs a Dom to be a more functional, whole person. Long version.

Bertbert feels like a Dom. She's assertive, speaks her mind, has strong standards. That is not the same thing has being a Dom.

Jane (the evolution scienctist that was Ava's coworker). Also feels like a Dom, but really is just a controlling self-centered bitch. Also not the same thing as a Dom.

We don't know enough about the relationships with Bagora (bird person) and the orb (not even trying to spell that name) to evaluate them in this dynamic.

Verge has Dom vibes. They are also not actually a Dom, but could at least do it on a switch basis for someone they really liked. Watch their interactions with Deidra, not a Dom.

Lovtrax, is a Dom, but a bad Dom and a bad fit. They did punishment and reward. No after care, not respecting limits, not learning what Leif really needs and enjoys.

Gloria is a good Dom. She can tell when he's bratting. Gives him challenging tasks. Discipline (strictly verbal). Praise. Aftercare. How well Leif does with Gloria as boss is why I'm convinced Leif has a praise kink.

These dudes are fucking legit.  They don’t just show up one day in court, either, they actually make friends with the kids and let them know they have a support system and that there are people in the world who care about them and will always have their back.  And less important, but also cool, is that the few times a couple of them have come into my cafe, they’ve been super friendly and polite and when I told one of the guys that I noticed his Bikers Against Child Abuse patch and wanted him to know how awesome I thought he was because of it, he got kind of shy and blushed and said, “The kids are the awesome ones, we just let them know they’re allowed to be brave.”

The source is long, but so, so good. These men and women are available in 36 states, 24 hours a day to stand guard at home, in court, at school, even if the child has a nightmare. Many of them are survivors of childhood abuse as well, and know what it’s like to feel scared and alone.

Bikers Against Child Abuse was founded in 1995 by a Native American child psychologist whose ride name is Chief, when he came across a young boy who had been subjected to extreme abuse and was too afraid to leave his house. He called the boy to reach out to him, but the only thing that seemed to interest the child was Chief’s bike. Soon, some 20 bikers went to the boy’s neighborhood and were able to draw him out of his house for the first time in weeks.

Chief’s thesis was that a child who has been abused by an adult can benefit psychologically from the presence of even more intimidating adults that they know are on their side. “When we tell a child they don’t have to be afraid, they believe us,” Arizona biker Pipes told azcentral.com. “When we tell them we will be there for them, they believe us.” ( Article)

Guys? This post changed my life. I saw this post. Forever ago. And thought it was only in america… and wished desperately that they could help me. But then I saw it again, during a bad episode, and checked their site. They aren’t just in the USA

They’re in Canada as well and probably other countries. I met and talked with a native guy who runs the place near me. His name is Shaman. I got in, and I’m considered a BACA child now. Despite being 17, turning 18 when I talked to them. They spent time with me when my abuser was over, they gave me therapy resources. They give you something called a ‘level 1′ where they go to your house with as many bikers as they can, i shit you not a solid 20-40 bikers came from even out of province, and met me. I got to choose my biker name and I got a vest with patches on it and my name on it. They all hugged a Teddybear before giving it to me, and told me if I ever felt the BACA bear was running out of love, to give them a call and they’d refill it for me, and then I got a ride on one of their bikes. Just a day or so ago I went to an annual party with them and they we ate food one of them cooked and had a lot of laughs. 

I’ve never felt as loved as I did being a part of the BACA family. They also gave me dog tags with the names, and phone numbers of my 2 workers.  So I can call them whenever I feel scared. 

BACA is an absolutely wonderful group that will do everything in it’s power to help any child whos been abused. 

And it doesn’t end when you’re 18 either. As long as you get in contact/get your level 1 before you’re 18? you’re ALWAYS a BACA kid. I’m 18 now and they still invite me to parties, ask me if I’m okay, and are there for me. They’re still trying to find me resources for therapy. 

BACA has changed my fucking life.

Thing 1 ----1 of 2 things is happening.

Either t's playing a reeeeally long game plot wise or I'm used to show with more/certain kinds of plot twists. Because new characters (reoccurring and episodic) keep setting off my -something is up with you- alarm and then ...there just isn't.

Reenie's assistant set off sooooo many alarm bells in her 1st 2 episodes. I was convinced she was going to turn out to be working for some secret cabal or be an unknown daughter. She was applying to work for a lawyer but at 1st her main interest was anything dealing with Colter . That had stopped. So was I wrong or are they just bidding their time?

Thing 2------

I want Colton's brother to loose a bet with someone and Colton to get roped into helping him. To resolve the bet Russell must find and return 48 pets in 48 hours (and he can't be the one who stole them)

Chapter 50 establishes Casper has a type (fight me).

So, even if Casper met Ava in the regular world, without the diner he'd be into her.

Would Ava be into Casper without the context of the diner?

In the Moms episode Casper tries to steer his moms away from moving to Cleveland. Possibly because he hated it or the warm fuzzy thought to increase the odds of that dimension's Casper meeting that dimension's Ava. Though if Casper doesn't at least have a 1 night stand with Philomena that dimension will have no David

Listening to ep 60 of Hwat Weekly

Joe is telling Finley about dark matter and Finley is saying it sounds made up.

If you listen to Hwat you know that while Joe is not a scientist the rolls of Casper and Ava are reversed with Joe explaining science things to Ava.

I have this idea now of Gloria finding Hwat Weekly on some interdimentional.... something (take your favorite explanation of how) and it has become something she listens to in secret at random, in sort of horrified fascination. When Joe and Finley get married is the day Gloria says to Casper "but you keep going back for more don't ya cowboy?". Eventually Leif and David each catch her and they also have their own weird relationship to Hwat Weekly. The 3 of them occasionally debate telling Casper and and Ava.
