Sitting on my balcony overlooking a rainy street in the student suburb of Sydney, and yet another end-of-solo-travels reflection approaches. I’ve loved and appreciated coming back to this country so much, to remind myself of the journeys completed and those I am currently on. What a blessing? Getting older I can see why people return to places year after year, with seemingly no agenda for visiting brand new places. Once you have a connection with certain people in a certain place, you have no choice. Travelling and revisiting these friendships, and being told it’s as if I never left, truly makes me feel whole again. But Christ do I miss my boyfriend and my doggy!!!! back to BC I go!!! Oh and I got a new tattoo today.

I feel so lucky to be happy with my now. To walk out of my house and know that I live in peace and ease, that many people with high octane lives may crave.
