frighteningly perceptive & observant, has this cool ability to figure out everyone’s strengths and weaknesses ( but of course he’s only human and humans are much easier to work with, y’know )

as stated in the anime and manga, oikawa can be compared to a conductor in an orchestra due to the level of control he has as a settler. he has full trust over his teammates.

oikawa thinks he’s very good looking and handsome and it’s true but he’s never seen bragging about it all too often?

oikawa can definitely be your supportive friend ( in his own little way )

he’s a six feet tall, eighteen year old volleyball player and a very good one at that known for his powerful jump serves. you’ll mostly find him at the beach with a ball in hand or just doing anything that requires him to be active.

Dedue left childhood a long time ago, and yet, and yet when he sees a game being played. A net in the middle and people controlling, throwing, hitting the ball with their bare hands, he feels a bit of excitement flowing from his core he didn’t’ think he had left. 

 “This game…what is it called?”

        “you mean you don’t know? this sport... is volleyball.” how odd, as he says with full emphasis. then again, he didn’t exactly know how the exact number of people who watch volleyball, at least not here at this place. observing the other before him, the male looked very capable and insanely strong. “you look like a capable, upstanding guy. have you played this game before? by the look of your face, i get the feeling that you’re intrigued and my senses are never wrong.”

        “you really have so much disregard for your own life, huh? why would you allow them to beat you up like that?” maybe it was bad of him to stand there and watch instead of stopping it but from afar, it looked like he had it all under control. he wasn’t much of a fighter anyways, usually he’d be the one getting punched or even headbutted. not to mention, alleyways are bound to give you all sorts of trouble, like he would even go near here on a regular basis because he was only just simply lost. hope the other wasn’t going to be bad that he didn’t stop the situation but it had seemed to have stopped for the time being. “hope you aren’t disappointed. i’d rather keep my pretty face from getting punched and ruined by idiotic delinquents.” how embarrassing would that be?

–  Spirale is a city that has its citizenship fairly reliant on technology, in particular, the internet and cellphones. Most resources were connected to the online world, and from what you can gather currency here is entirely digital. It hasn’t been a smooth transition for you, but you’ve managed. That’s why, when you see a boy walk off leaving his cellphone sitting on the bus seat you actually decide to do something about it. This sort of thing could happen to anyone, but the consequences are a bit more harsh than being unable to text for a few days. 

You pick up the phone at the last minute, waiting to see if he’d come back, or try to stop the bus. No one really moves to do anything about it either. You pull the rope to make the vehicle stop, and dart after him. 

“Excuse me!” – you don’t yell quite loud enough for him to hear you, so you run, and then circle in front of him. You hold the cellphone out for him to take. 

“Excuse me. I couldn’t help but notice you left this on the bus. Try to be more careful, okay?” 

        oikawa wouldn’t exactly try to get used to the place so easily, struggling to figure out where he was completely, leaving him without his teammates to lead with him. this was an odd island and he was still determined to get to the bottom of his whole situation but oikawa considered himself very smart so most definitely he would figure it out eventually. not to mention, it seems that the technology here was similar yet different from the reality that he knows. the island had a strange vibe, huh? though his senses couldn’t figure it out. 

he had been traveling for an hour or so, taking in the scenery and the several different locations in the area before stepping off the bus trying to find his way back to his own living quarters. however - he had a particular itch to turn back towards the bus station after sensing something was particularly missing, as if that certain something was calling for him even. how odd. before he could figure out which bus he was riding at the time, he saw a boy running up to him before anything. it must have been his lucky day. “i knew i was missing something, so i came back to retrieve it. you saved me there. however- due to the technology here, i’m sure my phone would make it back to me in one way or another, right?” still, oikawa was relieved nonetheless.

        “i gotta say, you’re a pretty decent runner. probably not as fast as me but still. i almost collided with you for a minute there if i realized it too late.” if he was going to be forced to occupy this strange place, he might as well get some training in by going out for a long jog instead of doing absolutely nothing anyway. the guy in front of him definitely intrigued him to some degree. what about this guy that interested him exactly? hmm. “jogging in those clothes, you’re quite bold, aren’t you?”

        “having a bit of a sweet tooth, don’t you?” he asks, smiling brightly at the blonde before him. oikawa was still trying to adjust to being stuck in just a ridiculous place full of odd people. in fact, the longer he was here, the more annoyed he got and the more he wished to go back home to his team to practice. but the mall was a typical one with pretty normal people around-- or at least that’s what it seems. “do you want some company? i've been craving something sweet myself. i wonder if they have milk bread here.” at least she looked normal, and pretty too. he’d gladly pay if that’d get him some good points.

        “oh my... what good reflexes you have there, my friend.” he didn’t expect someone to hit the ball at just the right moment, even if he didn’t expect anyone to catch it since he was practicing alone anyways, at least that was what he thought. “how about you serve that volleyball back to me now, and with all your strength.” he was curious, after all, just solely based on the other boy’s physical appearance which he assumes to be quite uncommon if it was really natural.
