the kingdom hearts 2 opening movie had no business being as good as it was. the music. the visuals. the part where utada goes “my hearts a battleground” while sora donald and goofy fight heartless in castle oblivion and i could feel my soul leave my body and ascend to a higher plane of existence. twelve years later and it still owns my ass.

do you ever just think about the fact that KH3 legit had a version of the end of PotC 3 in which Sora gets so Pissed at davy jones that he says ‘fuck this keyblade’ and literally starts throwing damn hands?

im gonna sound old saying this, but i just remembered back when the first KH3 trailers came out and we saw how detailed the environments were. everyone was gawking at the graphics and how beautiful it all was, and then sora jumped off the side of a mountain in the gameplay footage. and we were all expecting a loading screen to appear, or an invisible wall that would stop him from falling further. and it DIDN’T and he kept falling all the way down because that’s ACTUALLY HOW BIG THE MAP WAS and like everyone’s reaction videos ERUPTED with SCREAMS.
