bonus:
good morning to everyone except that freeze frame scene at the end of harry potter and the prisoner of azkaban
I think fandom forgets how Ron Weasley went from someone that couldn’t say Voldemort’s name without fear, and at the end of the series is the one calling Voldemort out when Harry died.
Because, you know, Ron Weasley has an actual character arc.

Let us step into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

So #hpchristmas has drawn to a close and I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who got involved- I had a lot of fun and hopefully you did too!
A while back I asked you guys to send in any songs that remind you of each of the hogwarts houses and I’m happy to say that the house playlists are now complete! They’re a little bit eclectic so I’d recommend just hitting shuffle and maybe once my exams are over I’ll try and organise them into something a little more comprehensive
I think they all turned out great and I love that they each have a different vibe so you can enjoy them all, no matter your house:
Gryffindor is the kind of playlist I want to stick on during a long car journey with my friends. It sounds like summer and is full of classics from Queen to ABBA to Fall Out Boy
Hufflepuff is soft but strong. It’s not lyrics you scream at the top of your voice but ones that fill you with a quiet kind of power. Think The Beatles and dodie
Ravenclaw is perhaps the most haphazard of the playlists but honestly I would expect nothing less. There’s Panic! at the Disco, Taylor Swift, and Broadway all in one playlist and yet somehow it works
Slytherin is harsher. It’s full of songs that remind you of your own power and motivate you to push for your dreams. Think a Marina and the Diamonds kind of vibe (also I find it hilarious that slytherin literally has 3x as many explicit songs as the other playlists combined)
Thanks again to everyone that sent in submissions for the playlists! I hope you all enjoy them and have a great christmas/new year/general holiday season, and I guess I’ll see you all again sometime next year
