there was a really cute bard v bard moment with Aranka that's lived in my head rent free this whole time, so ive done my best to panel out how it wouldve gone down for me. aka Xoryth ignores everything in order to challenge the fellow bard in the room. but an inspiring song's an inspiring song, right?? they helped.

9. Do they have hobbies beside the crusade? Any passions or skills they have?

For Cheri, she really enjoys practicing card tricks and when she goes to her court, she shows off the new tricks she’s learned. She also writes poetry and after her death many decades later, historians discover a desk drawer filled with love poems dedicated to her husband Daeran.

Deimos likes to sew small stuffed animals for the children in Drezen because it boosts morale and loyalty from the families living there. She also spends a lot of time researching devils and Asmodeus since it helps her to recall her past.

14. Which companion is their closest friend?

For Cheri, her closest friend is Daeran. Even before they started dating and eventually married, Cheri always felt comfortable to say whatever was on her mind around him. Her second closest friend is Greybor since she could relate to his assassin lifestyle as she was a mercenary before she became the KC.

In the beginning of Deimos’s journey, she found herself talking primarily to Wenduag as she found her straightforward brutality more comforting than Seelah’s paladin-ness and Camellia’s…camellia-ness. But as time went on, she found Wenduag’s insubordination agonizingly annoying and only keeps her around for her skills in archery. Afterwards, Ulbrig becomes her closest friend and later lover. Ulbrig reminds Deimos of her mortality and finds his curiosity of the current world endearing.

19. How did they feel during their time in the Abyss?

For both KCs, they were equally disgusted for two different reasons.

Cheri was disgusted by the Abyss because it reminded her of the violent bloodline that she turned herself away from when she ran away from being a mercenary. She hated how little freedom people had and subsequently at the slave market caused a huge uprising and freed all the slaves.

Deimos was disgusted by the Abyss because everyone was so needlessly boorish and unorganized. The entire time she kept thinking that if she was in charge, everything would be better off.
