Powers:
Arborkinesis: Sai has influence over nature, but his main focus is that of trees. He can manipulate and generate trees and other arbory; can include trees, shrubs and timber. His main application of the power is to provide himself with an armor of thick tree bark and vines.
Limitations: Fire, along with any other incendiaries can naturally burn through Sai's defenses rather quickly - pun not intended. Sharp weapons might hinder Sai's plant based attacks as well. While he has a connection to nature, Sai has a harder time controlling other types of plants that aren't trees.
mini bio:
TBD
Wanting a better world for himself and the world, Sai decided to join the Greenscreens.
"I hope they're paying you the highest wages for this." Sai mumbles lowly as he pets the shaggy dog laying on his hospital bed. He had taken a rough blow while attempting to save people during the-- Sai didn't even know what was going on in town. Only that people needed help and the arborkinetic tried his best up until a building exploded him out of consciousness. Next thing Sai knew, he woke up in a hospital.
Sai marched across the dark and gloomy night. There was a patch of forest that managed to become encapsulated within the crimson dome. With a pessimistic certainty, Sai was certain people of Halcyon might have wanted to try their luck with those creatures in the woods. As he found stragglers, Sai had been creating shelters from the trees around them, herding up people and sheltering them in an circular enclosure of living trees. As he traveled inwards back into the city, Sai had left a trail of tree shelters, hoping the people he rescued in those areas would survive.
It wasn't enough for the arbokinetic to fight a couple creatures and venture off deeper into the city. Sai wanted to make sure they were safe. He only hoped he hadn't corralled a free dinner for those infernal creatures.
Using his ability to grow towering trees, seeing the column of a redwood split through the asphalt of the street, Sai was taken aback by the sudden figure across from him. "Sorry if I almost hit ya, it's a bit hard to aim a tree."
how do you feel about eden who is using nature for their evil deeds?
He hates it, but he can't exactly get angry at the results. Being in the Greenscreens to Sai meant having an in towards saving the world for both human and natural world. But unfortunately it's the reason why there's many former members who turned to villainy. Much for Sai to think about.
🧪 HONESTY SUNDAY. catalyst's truth serum has leaked into halcyon's water supply, and everyone is now compelled to tell the truth for the next twenty-four hours! PLEASE REBLOG THIS POST IF YOU WANT TO BE SENT QUESTIONS FOR YOUR MUSE(S) TO ANSWER HONESTLY.
Taking a break from managing the team's socials, always being on the lookout for new opportunities, and quickly dealing with any negative publicity... that took a lot. Who knew superheroes would be as active online as teenagers? Everything was worth posting. Photoshoots, candids, selfies, brand promotion. And they all needed to do that according to the guidelines. Anything that could be seen as potentially hazardous to their reputation needed to be removed. And not just one of them - but the whole team. Even individual heroes who needed a boost on their socials.
Skye sighed as he wiped the sweat off his forehead, his breathing heavy and hot. Drops of sweat ran down his torso and back almost like a fountain. Nothing like working himself to the point of physical exhaustion to make his mind sharper. Clearer. And that was just his work. The other project he was working on was on stand-by for the time being. But there was no rush for that one. It was preferable to take time to make things perfect rather than rush and risk failure. The sound of his breathing was broken by the sound of steps, and Skye closed his eyes for a second - heart pounding hard inside his chest. "Just a minute. I'm almost done with the punching bag if you want to use it."
"I believe I caught you at the right time." Sai had begun to say, his eyes wavering a bit across the other man's body, though not on purpose of course. Sai's presence there wasn't as accidental. He had wanted to meet with the well known PR agent for weeks, hoping a chat with the other man would hopefully grow some ground for the Greenscreens and their cause. He wasn't oblivious, Sai understood the environment's neglect all too well. Often a second thought when the big bad for the week was demolishing a metropolitan city like Halcyon.
"I only need a couple minutes of your time, sir.." Sai swallowed, stepping around the other man, positioning himself behind the punching bag. He takes a hold of it, steadying it for Skye. Usually, Sai wouldn't approach someone as high profile as Skye, someone who had probably a heavier work load managing the Sovereign Seven than anyone in the Greenscreens. But Sai didn't come here to minimize the work his team has done, nor insult Skye's value. They could be of use to each other yet. "Perhaps I can help you with your workout and you can help me with a dilemma we the Greenscreens are having."
