"Through a variety of efforts, we at Tumblr, along with other dedicated supporters of the cause, have driven over 435,000 calls to Congress urging them to support the FCC in doing the right thing, and the FCC has received over 4 million comments in total. It’s crucial that every generation has the same opportunities that we’ve had, and we’re proud that our users have joined us so enthusiastically in this mission."

They got me.
It didn't take me two weeks to do this because I forgot. Yeah... that's definitely not the reason.

Basics Name: *redacted* Birthday: Just missed it. Favorite color: GREEN!!! Lucky numbers: 18 Or any multiple of three, really. Because I'm super crazy and could go on and on about why three is the perfect number. Height: 5’6” Talents: Um... I'm super handy in the kitchen. And nobody but NOBODY will speak ill of my driving. I take that shit very seriously. So seriously I consider my mastery of it a talent. Because that's completely normal. Last dream you remember: Too involved and bizarre to get into. Goes with that whole being super crazy thing. But all my dreams are pretty awesome. Can you juggle: Not yet. My niece insists that I learn. Art/sports/both: Arts. Of the musical variety. Went to an arts high school. Violin in orchestra. Baritone saxophone in marching, symphonic, and jazz bands. Clarinet in jazz band. Also flute and a bit of piano. But I'm always down for some dodgeball. Do you like writing: I do, but I don't have as much talent for it as I'd like. Do you like dancing: Yup. Which I'd stuck with it longer when I was little. These hips don't lie. Do you like singing: Do I like singing? No. I absolutely fucking love that shit. I don't wanna brag, but I can wail with the best of 'em.
Fantasies Dream vacation: Germany is #1 on my list. Followed very closely by Chernobyl. Which was on the list before it was opened for tourists. Much more likely I'll make it to Centralia, Pennsylvania first. (It's the inspiration for the "Silent Hill" movie.) Dream guy/gal: Not at the moment. Dream wedding: When I was into that sort of thing I imagined a big, day long event. Lots of time for both families to get to know each other. It would start with a breakfast buffet and open seating then the same deal with lunch. There would be rooms for activiites like cards, board games, and karaoke *ahem*Rockband*ahem* or touch football and stuff outside. Then a small ceremony followed by a huge dinner party. Obviously I've never really given this much thought. Dream pet: Wolf or a falcon. Dream job: Forensic pathologist. No doubt. Goddamn expensive fucking school.
Favorites Favorite song: Korn - "Seed" The only remedy for when I need to go screaming up and down the interstate to deal with all the fucktards I'm surrounded by. Don't know why it works so well, but it does. "Dirty" is a very close second. (This is really a gun-to-my-head type of decision. There's just too many songs I love more than is reasonable.) Favorite album: Probably Shinedown - "Amaryllis". Timing has made it my unofficial "Avengers" soundtrack. Last song you heard on the radio: Grateful Dead - "Uncle John's Band". (The local radio station is doing their Back to School A-Z) Least favorite song: Poison - "Every Rose Has It's Thorn" Hate, HATE, HATE. Least favorite album: Can't even think of one. Least favorite artist: Pick anything from the very few music videos that still get played on MTV and VH1. Preferences Guys/girls/both: Men, thankyouverymuch. Hair color: Washed out and sun-faded since the last time I died it "true red". Going back to black after I get it cut. Eye color: Dark brown. Humorous/serious: Serious. People with a more serious side do better at humorous than people with a more humorous side do at serious. Taller/shorter: Taller. To hell with being short. Biggest turn-off: Almost everything. I have no patience for anything anymore. It's getting problematic. Biggest turn-on: Big, black boots.

Boom.
5 HOURS to go…
Once upon a time I lived by myself in my childhood home effectively forgotten by family and friends unless somebody wanted something. I watched a lot - and I mean a lot - of "psych" during that time. It was one of the only things I cared about. There are not words for how much I'm going to miss this show.

It’s not just work, it’s your life. And it’s a human need to be told stories. The more we’re governed by idiots and have no control over our destinies, the more we need to tell stories to each other about who we are, why we are, where we come from, and what might be possible.
Happy 33rd birthday, Tom Hiddleston! [09-02-2014]
