Utopia // Daphs
Pansy was skipping down the halls on the first floor; she could see the sun setting through the windows and she could feel the cool air blowing in from the lake. She rounded a corner and paused mid-step, she was fairly sure she could smell cotton candy coming from down the hall. Looking around, she grinned to herself before bounding over around the next corner.
Coming into the Great Hall, Pansy saw Daphs sitting on a small stone bench near the entrance to the dungeons. Grinning broadly, she approached the bench,”You smell like cotton candy, you know,” she teased, settling down next to her.
Looking up when she heard someone approach, Daphne smiled happily when she saw Pansy standing over her, “Do you like it,” she asked with a small wink, “It was a gift,” she mused with an implying grin. Turning to face her as she sat down, Daphne felt slightly flushed at the memory, “You’ll never guess who it was,” she began to gush in a whisper.
Gasping slightly, Pansy’s eyes widened, “No!” she exclaimed grasping Daphne’s hand, “Did he really! Oh my gosh, Daphs” Pansy shrieked, “What did you say?” she asked, leaning forward slightly. Daph’s had talked about him before, but she’d had no idea what was actually going on between them.
Daphne smiled broadly, "He did," she squealed, squeezing back, "I didn't know what to say!" she admitted, quite unlike herself. "I really like him Pans," she mumbled quietly, looking down at her hands, "I just don't want to be another one to him...you know?"
