Hello, I'm Green, mid-thirties Swede who's currently enjoying giving no fucks in fandom and just indulging myself. Taken by my imported American sambo with two cats.

My main fixation right now is the zeti from Sonic the Hedgehog, so expect me gushing a lot about friends' art of these freaks. And fics from me. And OCs because I cannot help myself and I don't intend on stopping anyway.

I guess I got about a week of feeling Okay before the Reasons I needed this medical leave re-surfaced. The lid of financial stress and old unhealthy coping mechanisms is no longer there to contain them. :')

Like ahahahaha... What am I thinking, putting pieces together regarding my own health and history of illness? What am I up to, realizing that a common co-morbidity to hEDS, MCAS, would explain a fuckton of my Allergy But Not Allergy issues?

Is my throat and mouth feeling raw right now because I ate popcorn last night, something that often seems triggers MCAS, or because IDK, the weather? Which isn't any different today from what it's been lately. Does my constantly swollen nasal passages have an actual explanation that could mean I could have my sense of scent and taste back? Or am I just imagining things, looking for stuff that's wrong with me because I'm lazy, am I over-reacting?

Am I actually in a lifelong, constant state of discomfort that's been so normalized to me that I just. Assume it's normal? Discomfort I never knew how to communicate, because I'm autistic and communication is hard as fuck when the word "pain" can mean so many different things?

Like yes, I always feel pain between my shoulder blades? It's never debilitating, though, I can still move my arms. Sometimes moving makes it hurt less. I've learnt to tune it out so it's less pain and more... Discomfort? Aching? Feels like there's blunt rocks beneath the scapula? So it's not capital P Pain, like when my finger got slammed in a car door. Is it still pain?

I need to remember to breathe and take it one step at a time. I'm on disability now and therapy is starting up on Monday again and this medical leave will be extended. I have a POTS appointment next month. Hopefully they or the dietist can point me in the direction of where to inquire about MCAS.

It isn't my fault it's taken 30 years for this to be unravelled. I don't have to blame myself. It's okay if these thoughts of mine turn out to be wrong and I don't have MCAS or POTS. Even if my self-diagnosis has been pretty spot-on for most of my life. It's going to be okay.

This shirt is, let's say, inspired by a design sold at the 2013 Utena exhibition in Japan, and has been the stuff of fandom legend ever since....that is, until I grabbed one and made this design, from the original! Yes, that includes manually editing each letter because no fonts were a perfect match.

My intent was to launch it on Nanami's birthday on the 8th, however one of our two workhorse computers just fried (RIP Anthy's mobo, processor, and RAM, 2012-2026 honestly a great run tbqh) and welp OBVIOUSLY we now need about six trillion dollars to get enough RAM to run Firefox and Hades II and Photoshop.

So here's the deal! For the next week, until her birthday, the shirt is marked up by a significant amount, about $35 each. If you wanna help us out a little, that's an easy way to do it! If you want the shirt but not the extra out your wallet...just give it a week! After that point I'll drop the margin for us back down to the $5-10 we usually use.

every so often i remember how awesome the modern interconnected multicultural world is. i grew up getting to hear fairy tales from all over the world. africa, asia, europe, america. everywhere in between. i can have bagels for breakfast, curry for lunch, and ramen for dinner without even leaving the city limits. music and art and philosophy and technology that originated thousands of miles and years apart from eachother have come together and interwoven into something greater than the sum of its parts. its hard not fall into despair when thinking about the horrors but god. god the wonders.
