The animations for my main character to show how she would have used the bow and other positions such as walking, running and idle. The mesh around the back of the knees has had issues because the limbs are made up of two or more shapes. So where these shapes overlap sometimes become deformed.
I continued with the character in this way given that if I had enough time at the end of the project I aimed to fix it. But the main function of the character worked so it wasn’t an urgent demand as much as fixing the blueprint and importing the animations - although that part never worked.
In the future I would make the character and test importing immediately instead of expecting the rig to work after retargeting or the weight painting to accommodate for overlapping mesh.
