This gift is for: Helen (AKA @lovelyrhink) I love getting to make a new mythical creation for a lovely beast each year and this year was no exception! So for you, I have made a Rainbow Holiday Randler! I wanted to try out a randler design and I dunno, black and white just seemed too boring for someone as vibrant as you. But I fell in love with this rainbow snowflake fabric and thought I could combine them together into a new design. I had so much fun picking out all the colors and patterns. Well this took entirely way too long to post about. 🤦‍♀️

So yeah, about 2½ months ago I agreed to make a prize for the winner of @link-sans-specs 500 follower giveaway. And that winner turned out to be @outofnowhere82 ! Congrats!! 🎉

This is the pillow they helped design with Belvedere, bisexual flag colors, and flames! 🔥 I think it came out pretty great- check it out!

I'm mildly freaking out. I saw my 2 EB pillows up in the loft (the non-secret one) on today's livestream. I've been looking for ages to spot a pillow or two (I've given them 8 total now) anytime we get to look around the studio. They were just sitting on a pile, but they were there!! I don't have a screenshot yet, but these are them. I'm so freaking happy they have them.🥲

Ok, ok, I have a screenshot now. Eeeeeeeeee!!This is around 38:20.

I didn't even notice at the time but there are also 2 of the Belvederes underneath them. Those are only covers and are folded up but that's definitely them because they were sent together with the EB pillows. My heart! 😭😭😭

There are also 2 other Belvederes that were given to Link personally (by my nephew, not me) on tour. So far no evidence of those anywhere but they look like this:

And then there are the 2 Randlers that are in my header that made it onto mailtime. No clues yet as to where those have ended up either, but I am over the moon to have seen these ones in the studio. I can't stop smiling!!😁🥲😁

1. It's my birthday on Monday, but I don't think I'll be doing anything for it. What to do for a quarantine birthday? 🤷‍♀️

2. I did a grocery pickup today and I think they forgot my tortillas. This is a travesty. I literally placed that order because I was out of tortillas. I don't often keep bread in the house, but I must have tortillas, dang it.

3. There are some pigeon families nesting on my apt building near my balcony and I can hear the babies squeaking when it's feeding time. 🐥

Oh gosh, this is hard. 😬

1. I am 6 ft tall and am basically done wearing long pants. Although, I do have a pair of too short skinny jeans that I (inspired by our dear Linkypoo) turn the hem up and wear with short boots and pretend like I meant them to be that way. ☺

2. I'm addicted to the PBS Create channel. I love all the cooking and sewing shows and many of the travel and art shows too.

3. I want to make more mythical pillow designs! I only get to do them for Secret Santa gifts. I don't want to put those things in my etsy shop, but maybe I could take commissions. Would anyone be interested in that? 🤔

My lovely American friends and everyone else not Finnish (cuz all Finns already knows about this amazing thing :p )

OKAY I just saw the Finnish treat “pannukakku” controversy and how mythical kitchen made it and it’s a definite no, no and NO!!! Pancake is translated as pannukakku but it’s not the same thing! Pannukakku is baked in the oven and it’s the most EASIEST dessert you can make. I literally make this every week (I’m terrible at cooking) and I DARE you Americans try it. Just try it and you don’t need to sweat with a pan on your stove top to make perfect pancakes. This delicious treat is just 5mins mixing things and let the oven do the rest without fearing to screw it up.

Pannukakku is:

-2 eggs -8 dl (3,4 cups) milk -1,5 dl (0,6 cups) sugar -5 dl (2,1 cups) flour -1 tsp vanilla sugar (if you don’t have that, you can leave it out or add ½ tsp vanilla extract) -1 tsp salt -1 tsp baking powder -0,5-1 dl (0,3 cups) melted butter or something else butter like product for cooking!

The dough is supposed to be runny so don’t worry!

You can add 0,5 tsp cardamom for more taste if you like but not necessary.

-Mix eggs and milk -Mix in everything else with eggs and milk -Stir well, no flour lumps -Pour the mixture into a large oven pan and bake for 25 mins at 225 celsius (425 fahrenheit)

-Don’t open the oven when it’s baking! The dough is supposed to form really large bubbles! -Enjoy hot or cold (I prefer cold) and serve it with your favorite jam or just as it is.
