Fashion. An important aspect of many cultures, fashion has defined countries for years. What makes fashion so unique? Why is it a need for some to be fashionable? Who is deemed fashionable, and who is not? All of these questions come to mind when one wonders on the broad spectrum of topics that is fashion, as fashion is a unique party of an ongoing history. In most cases, women are usually more into fashion than men, meaning that fashion is usually more importat for women than it is for men. Women like to be pretty, and most like to dress in the trendiest of clothes, so it would make sense that they usually more of a knack for fashion than men would. In this article, Ladies fashion will be targeted; specifically, the powerful women leaders who have defined the fashion trends that are so present even today will be discussed.
Who Are The Important Leaders In Lady Fashion?
●  Lady Gaga- Perhaps the most famous pop singer currently active, it is hard to find a person who hasn’t heard of this musician. Whatever opinion you have the controversial singer doesn’t matter when you look at her fashion trends, as the hit maker is no stranger to the world of clothing. In fact, she even has a song called “fashion”, which shows her adoration on the topic. While her choice of it may be unappealing to some, and in some cases, downright controversial, it is no surprise that Lady Gaga is at the forefront for Ladies fashion.
â—Ź Â Madonna- Another pop singer making her way onto this list, Madonna was the fashion queen during the 1980s. In fact, she still makes heads turn, even today at the age of 56! What makes Madonna so unique is the fact that she is able to transform her look into virtually every piece of clothing. It could be a simple dress, or a tshirt and jeans, and Madonna would be able to set that article of clothing as a the new fad of fashion. Ladies fashion has had many icons, but few can even come close to the audacity or bravity, that Madonna had both in the 1980s, and currently.
●  Marilyn Monroe- It would be almost disrespectful to list fashion leaders, without at least mentioning the former actress and model, the late Marilyn Monroe. Considered a worldwide sex symbol, Monroe definitely knew a thing or two about Ladies fashion. Mostly popular during the 1950s and 1960s, Monroe is still remembered today, for both her looks and her fashion trends. Ladies fashion is prevalent today, due to in part from Monroe’s influence. From her stylish haircut, to her elegant and rich clothing, Monroe was certainly one of the most important fashion leaders of her time.
In summary, fashion is always changing. This in part due to the new leaders that are setting new trends. These were just some of the fashion icons, both present and former, but they certainly were not the only ones. With new stars and leaders emerging, it won’t be too long before Ladies fashion is changed once again, with new trends being set for what is “in or hot” and what is “not”.
