Comic books, fantasy, Sci Fi, Wrestling. I am nerd and very proud of it. In reality I'm just a poor starving author trying to get published in this crazy world.
Quick note on my V. To me, V is she/they non-binary lesbian who chose her name when she came out as a teenager. They are a half-Japanese Nomad who was trained by ex-Special Forces members among the Bakkers. They also do not share Jackie's goal of becoming a NC Legend, and when asked by Dex whether they wanted the Quiet Life or Blaze of Glory, they simply replied, "I don't plan on dying at all." They do what they do because they are good at it, and don't have much more ambition than to pay their bills and take care of their cat.
They are not heavily chromed, and rely mostly on their training and natural abilities to do their work. Being SF trained, V hates big flashy weapons and relies mostly on simple firearms and blades, but is also well versed in swordplay and had several katanas even before she got to NC.
I'll be posting more about them soon enough, but for now that's the skinny.
I've been meaning to start posting on tumblr again for a while, and with Cyberpunk PM becoming a new hyperfixation, I decided to start off with a simple one.
This was taken just before T-Bug left to prepare for the gig, Jackie insisting they take a "before" still to mark the occasion. Both V and T-Bug were hesitant, T-Bug because she didn't like her picture taken., V because Jackie was acting like the gig was a big party, but they relented. Jackie immediately sent it to V, saying that they would taken an "after" shot once the gig was over.
Sadly, that still never got taken, but V held on to this one, the only still she ever had of the three of them together. V looked at it often in the aftermath, using it to remind herself the cost of trusting the wrong person. Every time she looked at it a small part of her wishes that Goro hadn't zeroed Dex, if only so that she could do it herself.
my most controversial opinion about cyberpunk 2077 is that a lot fewer people would think Claire Russell is a supremely bad person if she wasn't explicitly a trans woman and her "hypocrisy" for wanting revenge over the death of her husband is both 1) perfectly human and 2) entirely in line with how literally every other person acts in night city.
the way wlw ships are constantly vilified in this fandom IRKS. ME. why are u allowed to ship leon and chris but i'm not allowed to ship claire and jill??? "it's not canon" NO SHIT. like stop acting like im forcing you to agree... LET ME LIVE
November 30 is the anniversary of Val and Judy getting married. As it turns out, Judy's been working on their present for a few months now. I came up with the idea in a stray thought about how couples might use BDs for thing. If there's anyone who would experiment with BDs, it's Judy and Val, your resident Mox nomads.
Also, don't buy your coffee machine from Zetatech.
So Panam. I love her. She's honestly great. Great character, great design. It's such a shame you can't romance her as the female body, female voice V. Actually sucks. BUT as I've played through her quests, I've developed a nice little story in my head about her and my V…
They are BESTIES. Absolute chaotic besties. Like straight up, "this is my new best friend" vibes. V wants to blow some shit up? Call Panam with a job (when she isn't busy!)
V def flirted with her when they first met but Panam was like "uhhh….sorry no?"
V: UNDERSTANDABLE, HAVE A NICE DAY.
V shrugged it off, but they just continued on as normal. Did not take them long before they found a common interest.
These two are the epitome of "share the same brain cell." Judy has never met Panam but V talks about her a LOT. And it kinda irks her sometimes. Like "damn what is so good about this Panam woman? She better not be interested in her…."
(Neither of them are interested in each other but the "flirty/fuck you" way they talk to each other could fool anyone).
And then Judy meets Panam and she's like "yep nvm that makes sense they are literally the same brand of idiot."
In my mind, Panam and Judy became friends instantly. The three of them became inseparable and V would often joke that Panam is their emotional support asexual.
Moar Judy X V Thoughts,*spoilers!* Some Due to be in fics (some nsfw under the cut)
V's Nicknames for Judy: Babe, Jude, Judes, Judy Booty (after her infamous drunk text).
Judy's Nicknames for V: Babe, Mi Calabacita, Loca, Val (only when they're alone and even then usually only whispered in her ear)
Judy likes to flop down in V's lap. Typically leads to fingers buried in hair, getting lost in each other's eyes, quiet afternoon dozing.
V donated most of her car collection to the Aldecaldos, but she kept her original ride, Jackie's Arch and used a good chunk of her savings to buy a tractor trailer. With some work by Claire (Who decided to join the family) it's become Judy and V's combined home/garage/armory/bd editing studio.
After they stop V's ticking clock with the help of Panam's expert, V still suffers from occasional migraines. Judy's always there with a blanket, water and blackout curtains for the trailer.
Judy tends to hum to herself, especially when she's in a good mood. She doesn't realize she's doing it until V says the song and artist.
V proposes during a diving trip. She sneaks out early and hides the ring in an interesting spot. Later on when they're both under together she points out the box like "Hey, what's that?" it says "Forever?" under the lid. When Judy turns back to look at V she's awkwardly trying to float on one knee. "Umf! Fuck! Probably shoulda practiced this part." Judy swims over and hugs her tight. "Goddamnit V! You just had to go and make me cry inside this helmet!" "So...?" "Yes! Yes you stupid gonk!"
They both got small Aldecaldos tattoos when they joined the family. When they got married they also had a small line tattooed on their hands half and half so that when they hold hands it spells out "'Till the toll of the bell, then I'll meet you, in heaven or in hell."
For their first anniversary, Judy gives V a shard with the BD of their first date, bad stuff like the relic malfunction edited out. V gives Judy the old poleroid camera they found during the dive, lovingly restored in secret.
Most of the time they make love rather than fuck, but it depends on the evening.
V's a big time service dom. She loves the soft longing in Judy's eyes when she's tied up and V is teasing her. She likes to relax and let judy take the wheel sometimes though.
Judy is a switch. She's either a playful Dom, a brat or the sweetest pillow princess depending on the mood.
Judy's friends in the Mox and her time spent editing has taught her a few pole tricks. She surprises V with a dance on her birthday.
fuck you, v didn’t die because she wasn’t unplugged halfway through like alt was. she and judy deserve happiness, god damn it, and i will not stand for anything less.
I can’t wait for phantom liberty’s new game ending. hopefully it’ll be happier 🥲
Giving this person some hope. One of the new news stories you can overhear since the 2.0 update is that a new treatment for MS has been developed using nanites. MS is a neurodegenerative disease. The nanites reportedly repair the damaged neural tissue. Therefore, there is a way to save V. But the treatment only exists in space at the moment for the mega rich.
In my head they had a brief thing after Santiago died, but Rogue didn't want to put Kerry in danger. Johnny (through V) told them both to go for it, to move one from him and be happy. They listened.

The Michael Cohen hearing demonstrated that the power of Trump’s narcissism has it limits.
There remains nothing more frustrating than a conservative who criticizes Trump and the Republicans who enable him, yet doesn’t recognize his own part in enabling the Republican Party’s long-term embrace of racism and corrupt class warfare. “Pure” conservatives who are so appalled by Trump’s crass racism willfully ignore the history of Republican Party race-baiting to win elections they would otherwise lose if they simply ran on conservative economic principles. Apparently it was fine for Ronald Reagan to announce his candidacy for President within miles of one of the most horrific race killings of the Civil Rights Era, but Donald Trump explicitly endorsing racism is a bridge too far. It was fine for Reagan to attack “welfare queens” in a lightly coded race-based plow to enrage bigoted whites, but Donald Trump talking about “good people on both sides” when one of those sides is composed of Nazi white supremacists is beyond the pale. It was fine for both Bushes to embrace financial deregulation that benefit corporation donors at the expense of common people, and for Reagan and GWB to pursue reckless tax cuts designed to boost the wealth of obscenely rich donors in a corrupt bargain against the interests of the middle class, while empowering corrupt cabinet officials to regulate the industries they previously ran– but when Donald Trump crudely plays the corruption game for all to see, that’s a step too far. It was fine for Republicans to dismiss Anita Hill as a crazy woman determined to bring down an upstanding conservative nominated for the Supreme Court, but when two dozen women accuse Donald Trump of the same kind of sexual harassment or worse– that’s unacceptable. Conservatives like Michael Gerson who claim Donald Trump has somehow corrupted the Republican Party, or that the Republican Party has somehow allowed itself to be corrupted after being historically pristine are kidding themselves. All Donald Trump has done is reveal the truth about the GOP: Since Goldwater, it’s been on a march to defend and enhance White Privilege, particularly the White Privilege of the obscenely rich. There’s nothing different about today’s toadying, reprehensible GOP– Its racism and corruption aren’t different in kind, only in degree. Donald Trump’s GOP is the destination the conservative movement has been heading in since 1964. It took fifty two years to get here, but here we are.
