…The 1950s were famous for blonde bombshells, conical-pointed bras, and Chevys with giant protruding, chrome bumper accents or “bullets.” These bullets were colloquially known as “Dagmars” in tribute to an early ’50s TV star by that name.

Dagmar was not only beautiful, but particularly famous for her large, protruding, conical…. well, you know. 😉

This particular set of Dagmars is outfitted with rubber bumper tips, known as - yep - “pasties!”

Started working at age 14 and pay rent to my parents during the summer months. At age 16 I got a permanent job and was paying rent year round. My dad died when I was 17. I moved out at age 20 and got married at age 22 back in 1975. I was a union Sheet Metal Worker. I retired at age 66 in August of 2019, but stay busy helping family and friends. I will be 70 on May 13th. Damn, I need a COLD BEER 🍺
