Navy EOD, Ogre knew, deployed with Army SF as well as Squids and Leathernecks like him, so it wasn’t like she didn’t have security clearance. That said, he wasn’t willing to give her everything just yet. OPSEC was just “stranger danger” in a military uniform, and at present he didn’t trust anyone on this FOB except Scarface.

“Both Army SF, but one of them used to be a Recon Marine like me. The Marine’s a tall guy, talks like he thinks he’s black and never shuts the fuck up. Got a bad habit of getting mortared everywhere he goes. The other one’s ex-Army Rangers - got a big old Wyatt Earp mustache and talks like John Wayne. Ring any bells?”

For a moment, he considered asking if the EOD tech knew Profile and Cowboy - even if they weren’t part of this Task Force she’d mentioned, they were a couple of guys who were pretty hard to miss.
