roman-rumancek:
It was a rare weekend that he didn’t have to be at the diner. The new hires that were there now he actually seemed to trust running the place without him. Which was a task easier said than done. So, he chosen to find a meal that wasn’t bathed in diner grease for tonight.
Placing a bag of frozen peas into the basket held tight in his grip, Roman looked up when he heard a familiar voice. “Well, I mean I don’t sleep there, often.” He teased stepping closer to her. “How are you doing Greta?”
The grin plastered to her face, Greta couldn’t help but giggle. “I reckon those benches aren’t the best to sleep on,” she remarked, adjusting her grip on her own basket. She couldn’t help but look him up and down, trying to stop herself from blushing as he said her name and moved closer to her. “I’m doing well. Thought it might be wise to get a meal that isn’t from your fine establishment. How are you?”
