Kathryn Newton as Abigail Carlson in Big Little Lies (2017-)
Greta had sat herself on a bench under a tree, textbooks piled around her. She had a late shift today, and if she wanted to get this assignment done, it was going to have to be done before then. Chewing on the end of her pen, she flicked to a new page of her notebook, swapping her pen for a stick of cubed cheese and pineapple. Seeing someone approach out of the corner of her vision, Greta glanced up, a small, stressed smile gracing her lips. “Hey, everything okay? What can I do for you?”
caesarcollins:
“Oh my god,” Caesar rolled his eyes as someone interrupted him. He was in the middle of reading, prepping for the semester. He needed to be prepared. Just because it was his senior year didn’t mean he got to slack off. Sighing, he looked at the other. “Can’t you see that I’m busy?” He asked rhetorically. “What? What could you possibly want from me?”
“Actually, you dropped this earlier, and walked off before I could give it to you, so I’ve literally spent the past half an hour trying to track you down to give it back.” Shrugging her shoulders, Greta placed the object in question on the table. “Thought it was important, so.”
laughterlincs:
“What’s your worst date story ever?” he wondered, leaning back in his seat with a smile on his face. “I’ll tell you mine if you tell me yours.”
“I’ve not actually been on that many dates.” Greta smiled sheepishly, chewing on her bottom lip. “The worst was probably one guy that walked into cafe I was supposed to be meeting him, took one look at me and said I was too short, and left.”
myoctobertrees:
Devyn yawned as she looked up from her textbook in the middle of a lecture only to lock eyes with a familiar face. “Hey, I didn’t know you were in this class,” she whispered as she waved a bit.
Chewing on the end of her pen, Greta’s eyes tore away from the textbook she was studying. “Oh, hello.” A small smile graced her lips, “Yeah I’m taking it for extra credit. Didn’t realise you would be here.”
mcrgcret:
Who the hell thought fresh food vending machines were a good idea? Yeah, on paper, it was pretty smart; who didn’t want full entrees on command? But in practice, it just gave off the vague smell of spoiling egg salad and the visual of unpleasantly wilting salads. Not great. Still, they provided Margaret with the convenience of grabbing a bite to eat on her way to the courtyard, rather than waiting in line in the crowded mess hall for similarly mediocre food. Some lukewarm mac and cheese would have to do. Margaret ripped the plastic seal her spork and napkin came in open with her teeth as she stepped further out into the campus’ courtyard. Various students peppered the grass, most seemingly hard at work or lost in thought, and her dark brown eyes scanned the area in an attempt to find somewhere to sit. The spot she finally settled on was still populated, but she beelined for it nonetheless. “Hope you don’t mind company,” Margaret prefaced as she sat down on the grass beside them, “’cause you’re getting it.” She peeled off the plastic covering over her mac and cheese to take a bite. “What’re you up to?”
Greta was sat under a tree, head buried in a textbook. Her sandwich sat next to her, left fairly untouched as she chewed on the end of her pen, scribbling down notes in her notepad. Hearing a voice, she startled slightly, before a smile graced her lips. “Of course not, you’re more than welcome to join me,” Greta spoke softly, before setting both her notebook and textbook down. “Just studying, I have to work later so I won’t be able to study after classes.”
⤑ Hey, isn’t that [GRETA CAMPBELL], the student from Eastcliffe University who majored in [NURSING] and will be graduating in 2020? I heard that they’re [LIVING OFF] campus this year. I’ve heard people around town say that they’re [NURTURING] but that they can also be [NAIVE]. I wonder how they’ll do in school this year. [beth, 21, gmt and she/her]
You’re half right about everything, you know that? And that’s worse than being wrong. That makes you dangerous.
