HELLO SMALL COW ARE YOU LOST
Seriously though your period is like coming home one day and finding that your spouse has constructed this entire new baby bedroom inside your house and you have to tell them “Sweetie we don’t have a baby” and then your spouse FLIPS THE FUCK OUT like “The FUCK do you mean we don’t have a baby I DID ALL THIS WORK” and then they spend the next week tearing the whole room apart and throwing it out into the street and screaming at you and then finally when the room is completely gutted they calm down and say “It’s okay hon we’ll have a baby next month” and then they start building the room again AND THIS SHIT KEEPS GOING FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE UNTIL YOU HIT LIKE 50 AND THEN YOUR SPOUSE LEAVES YOU BUT NOT BEFORE SETTING THE WHOLE HOUSE ON FIRE SO IT’S NEVER THE SAME AGAIN
The thing that pisses me off the most about this Florida school shooting is that this kid’s instagram IS LITERALLY HIM SHOWING OFF HIS BIG ASS GUNS.
AND NO ONE SAID ANYTHING. NO ONE REPORTED IT AND SHOWED ZERO CONCERN OR QUESTIONED LIKE “hey, it’s kind of odd that my former classmate is showing off his guns on social media, maybe I should tell his parents or alert the principal because he looks pretty pissed off”.
We are so unbelievably desensitized to guns and it’s horrible. I hate when a tragedy happens and it’s not until people fucking die when people give a shit about regulating guns (specifically gigantic fucking guns that aren’t fucking legal).
I hate that all policians say is “thoughts and prayers” how about you shut the fuck up and work on finding a solution? stop sitting there in your stupid ass leather chair at your fancy desk talking out of your tiny uptight ass about “prayers”, save your stupid speech, save it all and get the fuck down to whoever you need to talk to about fixing this shit.
If I ever have kids one day, I’m not about to send my kids to school if solutions aren’t going to be offered up. I’ll homeschool them, I don’t give a fuck.
I’m mad. I’m mad and I’m glad people are mad, STAY THE FUCK MAD. Hopefully this can light a fire under our asses to fix this fucking country.

People talk a lot about how Harry Potter taught them about friendship and bravery and love overcoming evil etc and of course I think that’s very important but like…
Harry Potter also taught an entire generation of kids that the news media can’t always be trusted to tell the truth, that the government can often be corrupt or incompetent, that the legal system isn’t always right, that the people in power don’t always have your best interests at heart. That bad things sometimes happen to good people, that your heroes aren’t always as perfect as you think they are, that even those with the best intentions can be wrong, that everyone can make mistakes and that often in order to make things right it takes a lot of hard work and sacrifice.
…and I think in a way that’s every bit as important as the more positive messages.
On this day in music history: February 7, 1964 - The Beatles arrive in America for their first visit. Their Pan Am 707 jet touches down at JFK Airport in New York at approximately 1 pm. The band will be greeted by over 3,000 cheering fans waiting for their arrival. Shortly after disembarking, a press conference is held in which the band charm the hard boiled New York press. During their historic first visit to the US, The Beatles make three appearances on The Ed Sullivan Show (live from New York and Miami) and play their first live concerts at Carnegie Hall in New York City and the Washington Coliseum in Washington DC. The Beatles first visit to the United States is filmed by documentary filmmakers Albert and David Maysles (The Rolling Stones’ “Gimme Shelter”) for Granada Television in the UK (as “What’s Happening! The Beatles In The U.S.A.”), and is later released on video as “The Beatles First US Visit” in 1991.
