One of my favorite moments in film.
Two years ago today it was snowing and I released this album. To celebrate, I've made it free on band camp until tomorrow. Link in profile ❤️
Listening to Ladies – Most people are familiar with the old white men of classical music fame, the face of each being the very picture of a “composer.” However, women compose music too, and have done for quite a long time. You have probably not heard their music due to the fact that it is generally not included in the ‘canon’ - the books and concerts and radio shows and classes and exams and best-of compilations. So, as a female composer myself, I thought I’d do my small part and start sharing some of the brilliant music women have created and are right now creating in the classical and new music worlds. - Elisabeth Blair
