Everyone says that you should never meet people you met online irl, and yet some of my fondest memories are from times i did just that. Be it a bowling trip from yesrs and years ago that i kept secret from my parents, or this past new years when i got a 7 hour coach to visit my long distance bestie. Sometimes the people you meet online are some of the only people who treat you like youre human.

In exactly 2 months I'm taking that 7 hour coach for the last time as i move to the city my long distance bestie lives in, and I'm reminded of that bowling trip. I don't speak to any of those people anymore. Some for good reasons, others for reasons i don't remember. Even then though, i look back on it fondly, because it was one of the first times i ever left somewhere wishing i didn't have to
