Get lots of rest, man because when you wake up tomorrow youâre not going to get any sleep before Monday.
Why's that? ...Oh, yes, the wedding's tomorrow, isn't it?
so tired...
Job hunting sucks. I'm just gonna curl up in bed and cuddle with Quinn.
Quinn blinked her eyes shut, not wanting to hear the words he said also. She could hear him weeping behind her. Quinn opened the door and slammed it behind her. But where was she going to go? Mike and Britt were asleep. She layed against the wall, and slowly slid down till she was in a ball position. She began to cry silently into her legs. Greyson, the one she loved, was the only person in this world who had never yelled at her. And since he had, it crushed her.
Grey heard the door slam but didn't move from where he was seated. He was now letting out silent tears, thinking about everything. He'd just gotten her back and now she walked out of the apartment. It wasn't a good sign, was it? Every time things got bad they didn't talk it out like mature adults. She walked out. It was the same in high school. One bad thing happened and she bailed. He would have to fight for her to come back, but it was a stupid little game they kept repeating. And he was getting tired of it. Further more, he could not forgive her for what she told him she planned to do. How could she make that decision without him? He was the father. He should've had a say. Feeling hurt and betrayed in some ways, the man got up and walked to the bedroom, undressing to his underwear before slipping under the covers on his side of the bed, attempting to just fall asleep and forget everything. In the back of his mind, he wondered if she would come back or disappear again...
Quinn shook her head looking away. Heâd never yelled at her like this. She bit he lip and wiped her eyes. She finally let go and just cried. Like she never had before. She looked up and glared at Greyson. âIs this enough reaching out for you?â And she grabbed her jacket and headed towards the door.
Greyson felt his heart breaking when she started crying. Hearing her statement and watching her walk towards the door, he didn't turn to face her or make a move to stop her. "No," he said, "This is you walking away from me. Just like you always do." He sunk down on the living room couch and held his head in his hands, now weeping himself.Â
She looked down, âNot give them away, itâs adoption, a good thing.â She knew he was going to yell at her, so she was gong to beat him to the punch, âMaybe if you werenât not so obsessed with your job, and spent time with me! Whenâs the last time we hung out? We havenât in forever, the last time we had sex was when I got pregnant!â She felt a tear roll down her cheek.
He jumped a little when she yelled at him. He turned around to face her, seeing a tear roll down her cheek. Normally that was all it took for Grey to calm down and be on her side. But not this time. "Obsessed with my job? You act like I don't ever think about you. Why the hell do you think I work so goddamn much?! That job is what pays for this nice apartment, for the food you eat, for everything we have! I work like a mad man for you, so I can pay for the kind of life you deserve. And pretty soon that was going to be for the kids too!" He scoffed, "Don't put all of this 'we never hang out' stuff on me, Quinn--Don't put all of this on me! It takes two to tango. No matter how much I'm in the mood or I want to do something with you, you tend to push me away." He let out a shaky breath before continuing, "You don't tell me anything. You don't let me know how you're feeling, you don't let me know when you want something from me. You wouldn't even tell me that you were truly deeply depressed. You know who you tell that stuff to? Mike. No me--your husband." He swallowed thickly and choked back a sob as he continued, "And now you're trying to tell me that you want to give our children, two little people we made together, to someone else. You want someone else to raise them, you want them to call someone else mommy and daddy. And you're blaming this on me?" He threw his arms in the air, "Acting like I'm not here, I'm never around for you. Newsflash, Quinn, I'm here! I'm right here. You're just not reaching out to me."
Quinn bit her lip looking away from him, âWell, youâre always at work, and Iâm not in the best mental state right now to have children, and my therapist Shelby, and her boyfriend Carl have been trying for children but it wonât work, so when I told her, she then asked me.â Quinn looked at Greyson, all she could see was hurt.
He listened to what she had to say and looked at her with that broken, sad expression. Swallowing thickly, the man looked at his wife. "...You want to give away our children?" he barely managed to whisper, choking back a sob and holding in tears at the thought. His wife wanted to put their children up for adoption. How could she even think of taking his children away from him? He shook his head lightly before turning and walking out the room.
She frowned, âIâm sorry, for running away. For putting you through that, making you feel like I didnât love you.â She caressed his cheek. âI do love you, and once I have these babies and put them up for adoption, we can have a life, just you and me.â
Grey smiled down at her as she apologized, kissing her forehead softly. "It's fine, sweetheart," he whispered. He continued smiling as she proclaimed her love for him. But the second she brought up adoption, his smile faded and was replied with an expression of shock and... Hurt. "...Adoption?" he asked, swallowing thickly. His eyes widened slightly as he pulled away from her and sat up. "...You want to put our children up for adoption? Wh... Why would you think that?!" His jaw slightly agape, Grey got off the bed and took a couple steps away from her, raising a brow. "Please tell me you're joking."
Quinn had been home for a couple of days and everything had been okay. She felt happy, with Greyson. Her running away showed her that Greyson loved her, more than anything on this planet. And it also rekindled her feeling the same way about him.
Quinn felt his warm body behind her and she turned to him. She was happy he had finished his work, and was going to lay with her.She smiled again, and kissed him passionately. More passion then she had kissed in the years they had been married. After a few minutes of passion Quinn pulled away. âI love you.â
He kissed her back with the same amount of love and passion, sighting against her lips. She had never kissed him like that, not since they'd been married. The closest kiss to that was on their wedding night, but since then... They just hadn't been this close to each other. It took nearly losing her for him to realize just how much he loved her. It only reminded him that he never wanted to come close to losing her again. From now on, Grey was going to show her just how much he cherished her.
Pulling away, he smiled at her and leaned in to place a soft kiss on her lips. "I love you too," he whispered, resting his forehead against hers. "More than anything." He sighed softly and moved to nuzzle her neck, kissing her softly there. "I'm so glad you're home," he whispered. He'd said that a lot the past few days but he could never quite get over having her back in his arms. He carefully pulled her closely against him, keeping his arms tightly around her.Â
Home With Me || Queyson
Greyson sighed and leaned back in his chair. It had been a long past few days and right now he was finishing up some work from his home office. The search for Quinn took out all of his energy and so he took a week off from work to stay home and relax. Despite that, he still had to do some work and emailed some documents off to his assistant to make sure she put them on file. Shutting off his computer, he stood up and stretched out his tired limbs before making his way to the bedroom. The apartment once shared by four friends was now just Grey and Quinn. In some ways he was very happy. With the news that he and Quinn would not just be welcoming one but two babies into their lives, Grey figured they needed the space. And Mike and Britt would need their privacy. Their friends' old bedroom was going to be transformed into a nursery for the babies, one that Grey himself would work on. He was dead set on making a ton of changes in his life, the first being prioritizing family above work. A part of him wondered if Quinn would be more happy if he did.
Thinking of his wife, the man ventured to their bedroom where she was curled up in bed. A smile grew on his face as he leaned against the door frame. He couldn't describe the relief and happiness he had knowing she was alive and well. Quinn was his wife, his everything, and it killed him to not know where she was or if she was okay. But now she was home and all was well. With a grin on his face, Greyson slipped under the sheets behind her slowly and wrapped an arm around her waist, holding her back against him. He kissed her shoulder softly before sighing, just holding onto his wife.Â
Quinn! I said âburnâ not âpostâ. I knew you were going to do this.
Enjoy yourself. Everyone thinks itâs funny.
Aw, come on man. We all have embarrassing photos of ourselves. Don't worry about it.
Youâre Welcome Mike ;)

Lost and Cold
As soon as they were in the cab, Mike held his phone firmly in his hand. He hope he was going to feel it vibrate soon since Quinn didnât answer his last text. He nodded quickly when his friend said he was going to call Quinnâs mother. She couldnât be anywhere else in Lima. His hope soon vanished when Greyson spoke again, saying that the woman wasnât answer her phone. Mike let out a frustrated sigh. He hated this; most of the time, when something urgently needed to be resolved, there were always other stuff in the way. He already wanted to be in Lima and look for Quinn there. Mike watched as the other male alternately texted his wife and dialed his mother in lawâs number. What could they do, who could they call to help them? Quinn wasnât talking to any of there friends after something happened during Junior year at Fame. Greyâs voice shook him out of his thoughts and Mike could see that he was more and more anxious. Normal. He swallowed the lump in his throat and placed his hand firmly on the other maleâs shoulder, before giving a quick squeeze. âWeâre going to find herâ. He didnât know what else he could say and hoped his voice had the reassuring tone he wanted. All this couldnât any other way than Greyson and him finding Quinn alive and safe. Suddenly, Mike had an idea. Maybe he was watching too much movie, maybe his idea was completely crazy but he didnât care; they would use anything to help them find Quinn. âSam is a police officer⊠Do you think he has access to the list with the names of passengers? Like we would know if weâre going in the good direction. Iâm going to text himâ. As he finished talking, Mike looked down at his phone and started typing.
Grey's ears perked at the mention of Sam Evans. He hadn't heard from the kid since school. They weren't particularly close or anything, but he knew he was a good friend of Quinn's back in the day. At the mention of Sam being in law enforcement, more hope flushed through Grey. "That's perfect. I mean, I don't know how, but he can help us. Police look for people all the time, don't they?" He let out a breath and felt a small and hopeful smile tug at the corners of his lips. As Mike texted Sam, Grey sat patiently, still fidgeting anxiously as he hoped that Sam could help them. It was in that moment that his phone vibrated. Quickly, Grey pulled out his phone and checked the recent text. His heart picked up, but in an almost good way, as he read the text. Without saying a word to Mike, Grey headed into the cockpit of the jet and began barking orders at the pilots. "Turn this damn plan around and start flying to Vermont!" he said loudly, showing just how dead set on finding his wife he was. Returning to where Mike was seated, Grey showed him the text. "Quinn said she's in Vermont..."Â
