gale's act 2 romance scene got me. i'm an absolute sucker for last nights alive and the desperate desire to escape to a reality where you have more time than you do.

it's a not like this moment, but like this is all you'll ever have, so you both play pretend that the beautiful thing between you is something you can keep.

when i first got that scene in which gale asks the player character to put a hand on his chest where the karsite weave marked it i was playing a short character (business as usual) and i remember being impressed that he knelt down...i thought that was a bit of gallantry for smallfolk characters exclusively. kazoo noise

currently reading: juggling a few books right now but i'm making the most progress with rosemary sutcliff's 'sword at sunset' which is her rendition of the life of king arthur. it pairs well with mary stewart's merlin trilogy :') pregamed for it with twain's 'a connecticut yankee in king arthur's court' for fun and wasn't all that impressed with that one

current obsession: gf's been making miis of our favorite tes characters in tomodachi life and they're so cute i want to microwave them

last google search: looked up a few words while writing last night to make sure they meant what i thought they meant
