Fashion styles tend to change within a few month, how do you ensure that you keep up with the trends and remain fashionable?

One of the ways to be honest is just by following my idols. By following them constantly i get to see their style change first hand and if i like it i can change my style to suit theirs as well!! Other than that i would advice you to try and come up with your own trends! Never be too afraid to wear something you think is nice, because it might just be the next trend!

WHY YES I DO! I have many people who inspire my dressing style! I even talk about them in a few of my post! So if you want to find out who are my idols i guess you just have to go read my posts!! :D

I don't really have a "favourite" style of dressing. I believe in trying a bit of everything from korean dressing all the way to maybe even street style if possible!!!

APP OF THE WEEK 2

Thats what I thought too when I came across this app on app store. I don’t know but I love browsing through new apps on app store/ play store (which ever software you are using), it’s actually helps to cure boredom I promise.  

Long story short, yes Burpple is actually like the new Instagram in my own opinion. Just that for Burpple everything is about nothing more than FOOD. It has now become the leading social food guide for finding and recommending your favorite dishes in restaurants. Just like Instagram or you can call it a mini food journal/ diary, you snap and post pictures to share it with your followers. You can save places that you like just by adding them into your wishlist, and this is really useful to me because it helps to cut down the number of screenshots in my camera roll and it helps to save my memory space haha. 

Last but not least, you not only share your experiences with the others, you can also search up and find out more about restaurants that you might not even heard of. It actually serves as a guide for me to actually make me crave of something and to decide on what to feast on for the next meal (smirk) #savetime #saveenergy #savemybraincells.

Remember I tell you all how much I love pancakes? Here’s something cool I found online that I have been wanting to try out. 

After much anticipations, I finally made a trip down to Nook, the house of pancakes. Nook’s pancake buffet allows everyone to customize their meal, or to try a little bit of every topping and flavor you can come up with. Start with your batter,add some more flavor with mix-ins, and when you’re done flipping, drizzle on toppings! To my surprise, buffet for kids are at $8 and adults at $12 and students at $10! You can have cheap food while having fun! 

For first timer, here’s a guide on how you should order your pancakes

Step One: Choose your preferred flavor of pancake batter!

Step Two: Select the FREE topping that comes along with every bottle of pancake batter

Was just wandering around Bugis the other day and to my surprise, Bugis have undergone renovation and everything looks so new! And from there I also found out about this french-japanese located at the second floor, outside BHG. The name Miam Miam basically means yum yum. 

What draws me into the restaurant is the ambience, when I look at it from far, I find that the setting is really cool. From the lightings to the arrangements of the tables and chairs. And thus, my poor boyfriend got dragged in reluctantly by me to settle our dinner there (but thank you). Other than the arrangements, the menu really makes me go “wow”, its like a well-done typography design poster. (Such class, Much Wow). They have a wide variety of food from pasta to baked rice to mac and cheese. And what I find that is really special is their squid ink pasta and baked rice. Yes I know Pizza Hut sells that too, but the one here is really different! 

We ordered Bolognese, Japanese Curry Baked rice and Vanilla souffle.

The taste of the bolognese ($10.80) was different from the other restaurant out there due to the half cooked egg which you have to mixed in with the noodles.  I really love the Japanese Curry Baked rice ($14.90), the curry is neither too sweet nor is it too spicy. In it, there’s a variation of ingredients as well which make it very worth the price. For desserts we ordered Vanilla Soufflé. To be honest, its my first time having a Soufflé (oh well, life of a peasant), I really like it during the first bite, it taste a little like custard (???). They flamed it so well that the exterior is crispy while the inside is moist and soft.  

All in all, it was a great experience from the ambience to the service and the price. Everything is way better than my expectations!

For our final post, we have the long awaited checkered button shirts. I don't usual wear these type of shirts but that doesn't mean that they are out of fashion. I find these type of shirt typically hard to match just because normally on the shirt itself it has two main colours which makes it difficult to match with the bottom that you have. Some checkered shirts even have three main colours, which make it all the more difficult. 

For me, in the end i feel that when i wear checkered shirts, you really just got to think out of the box because you never know if it will match or not. I never thought of wearing this shirt with these pair of shorts. You just got to try it on and only then will you find out. 

So if you are like me and you have trouble finding what to match with checkered shirts especially, don't hesitate to actually try it on before you think it is impossible to match!!

For today's we have the sexy Adam Levine to take the cover. Another one of my idols that not only produces amazing music with his band Maroon 5 but is also a very sexy figure as well, but what makes him so sexy many people might ask. Well for me, i think it is because of his cool tattoos. 

Now i am not saying that all tattoos look nice, but if you get a nice one then thats great! I have always wanted to get a tattoo but i'm always too scared to get one not because of the pain but because i don't want to regret it.

Step one: DON'T EVER REGRET THE TATTOO THAT YOU GET!!

So if you are getting tattoo you better think real hard if it really is the right one for you because there is no turning back once you get it. However, with that being said, if you have a tattoo that you want to get and you are certain that you won't regret it, then by all means GO FOR IT!! Because tattoos will always add the extra flavour that you might want to your style and fashion!!

For today's post i am going to talk about how to reuse clothing once again. If you guys can still remember, i used this red short sleeve buttoned shirt by itself before. However, i began to think how i can mix and match to create a whole new look and this is how i did it. 

I put on a white plain t shirt and actually used the red buttoned shirt as an outer wear instead. To top it all off i put on a nice pair of sky blue jeans and my usual ASOS shoes and BOOM we have a whole new style. Unlike just wearing a buttoned short sleeve shirt, this style has more of a fuller feel to it. What i mean by this is that the whole look, looks more complete and stylish rather than just wearing two pieces of clothing. 

Once again, never think that a piece of clothing can only be worn one way, you can always find out another way to wear it just like I did and who knows the look might be even better than the previous one so never stop mixing and matching!!!

For today's post I am going to be talking about..... you guessed it, Johnny Depp. Famous for making many girls and women go crazy over him, but what exactly makes him so hot?

Well for me, it is his special moustache. Many people think that fashion is about just what they wear but facial hair is very important as well. Many men have a certain type of facial hair that suit their face very nicely and some even look better just without any facial hair at all. Facial hair can add a very "sexy" flavour to your fashion style that will surely make people go "woah". Personally i definitely look better without any facial hair for now, but who knows in the future how i will look like. 

Never think that fashion is limited to just clothing. So what type of facial hair fits you?

Going to the SP Open House was like a walk down memory lane. Almost everything i saw was almost exactly the same as how it was back in 2012 when i first came to check DMC out. From the entrance, it was the usual goody bags section. (Too bad i couldn't get one this year since i was already in year 2) Then came the good part. The free food. The further in you got the more free food you could get and not only that, it was an unlimited flow of free food! 

However, it really hit me when i went into the convention centre and saw all the recently graduated students. It was like looking at myself back when i was asking all the lecturers about the courses. I saw the usual Ms Trudy talking to all the students and i remembered back when i was the one asking her the questions. It really was something. 

I also finally got to go on the agency tour! Back when i was here in 2012 i didn't really get to go on the agency tour. I don't really remember why, i guess i was just too lazy and thought when the time comes the time comes. But really if you have an interest in DMC do come on the agency tour I'm sure that you will enjoy it. If i had gone to the agency tour back then i probably would have made me want to come to DMC even more because it was super cool. This doesn't only apply to DMC though, if you are interested in any of the courses I really advice you to go and take the tour and really check the course out rather than just asking questions at the convention centre. The tours at the open house really make a huge difference and it really shows you if the course is right for you. 

With that being said, the SP Open House 2014 really made a huge impact on me, if i could come back and help out in 2015 i probably would.

For todays topic we will be talking about geek style. Recently, the "geek" trend has been coming back into play and in this picture, it shows me with a nice pair of suspenders and a bow tie. Although this used to be known as "nerd" nowadays it is actually very stylish and nice to wear. It gives off both a classy vibe that is very effective with the lady's. So for all you single guys out there, TAKE NOTE. 

Just wearing a suit and a tie may not always be the way to go as there are other ways to look classy as well. Like I just mentioned, the bow tie is a very nice replacement for a normal tie and it is very popular with the ladies. The suspenders is just a nice addition as it goes especially well together with a bow tie. 

If you are thinking of trying something new and want to have a smart casual look going. Don't be scared about how people judge you and quickly go get yourself a pair of nice suspenders and a bow tie and I am sure that you will be a big hit with the ladies.

For today's post it is something a little special. Remember the post where i wore the singlet to go to the beach? That is the exact same singlet that i am wearing in this picture, but i am giving it a little bit of a different taste this time. 

In this picture, i am wearing the singlet while using a short sleeve shirt i got from cotton on as an outer wear. This is accompanied with a pair of black jeans and some brown shoes that i got from ASOS. This way of dressing makes you have a very casual feel while not looking sloppy at all so you can wear this to school or even to go to town. It still has a bit of a "beachy" aura which goes very nicely because everyone just loves the beach. Wearing a singlet on the inside is also nice if you use a necklace as it allows you to show just a bit of the necklace off.

All in all this just shows you that a piece of clothing can change a lot if you wear it in different ways. Just like in this picture wear instead of just wearing the singlet i put on some jeans and a short sleeve shirt and BAM it is a whole new different look and feel to it. So never stop trying different combinations out!!

DMC Journey

My DMC journey to sum it up in one word was unexpected. It was definitely full of surprises. 

To start it off, DMC was not my first choice, it was my second. When i got the admission results that i was going to DMC, i'm not going to lie, i was definitely disappointed. I went in with the wrong mindset and wasn't excited about joining DMC at all. When i got a invitation to go to the CASS camp that happens before your school actually starts, i naturally declined since i thought it was just going to be awkward. That was a HUGE mistake. On the first day of school, apparently almost everyone went for the camp and more than half the cohort already new each other. I remember walking into the Agency and seeing that almost everyone already knew each other, i thought to myself "Shit, i'm screwed." At that point of time, it was super hard for me to open up to anyone seeing that they all already had their own group of friends. I found it very hard to fit in. However, once we got split into our classes I slowly got to know everyone better and better. It took awhile but I got there. The longer I stayed in the course the more things i learned and I'm not just talking about studies or from modules but from people as well. The best days was definitely when school just started, because as time passed by the usual cliques started to form. From then on it was just not the same. Especially when things got tough and many assignments were due, the phrase "Some people are not who they seem to be" definitely showed. There are many things i wish i could redo if i had the chance like get to know my course-mates better and not just the people in my class. If i were to summarise my journey in DMC into a few words it would be "Rollercoaster Ride". There was many ups and downs, although i make it sound like it its all downs and no ups. I will never regret my choice in coming here. It has not only taught me a lot, but i have met friends that i will never forget and i even met the love of my life. I still had a lot of fun and some of the lecturers here really do care about our studies and do teach very well which really means a lot as well.

P.S If i were to give any advice to someone who was thinking about coming into DMC or has already been accepted into DMC by all means please JUST SIGN UP FOR CASS FOC it really helps a lot. Also come in here with an open mind and just try your best to make as many friends as you can. Never regret your decision or it will just make your life in the course miserable. Most of all just have FUN because you really have no idea what you are in for.

Today's post is all about plain coloured tops. I have heard many people saying that if you wear something too plain it just won't look nice, but i feel the exact opposite. 

Wearing something plain is actually very good, because it is not only is it incredibly easy to match it can look very fashionable as well. In this picture it shows me in a plain grey long sleeve shirt with some black jeans on. Just two colours, doesn't mean that you look plain, on the contrary i find the more plain it is the better. Of course, it would be nice if you could top it off with a hat or something (like in the picture where i used my "Sorry, i'm fresh" cap). So go find yourself a plain shirt and try it on now if you haven't already done so, because you might have just missed out on something great.

Moral of the story is: "Don't ever listen to people who say that wearing a plain t-shirt will be TOO plain."
