Long and low but forward with swing. Mikey is such a kick ride -- on a good day -- he's pretty hard to motivate in summertime.

It's really cool to see how far Cash has come in his balance in the gaits and acceptance of the aids in such a short time. He's only been in my program since May! I will really miss this horse when he goes.

Keeping things light for Cash this week, in this crazy heat and also because he has another pre-purchase exam on Monday. Fingers crossed we've kissed enough frogs and have found the right home for him!

I don't know many 4 year olds who are this reliable and fun in the bridleless work already.

Kato's first steps of canter in many months! He looks and feels so good, even if we lost a bit of topline and fitness.

Heading out just as the storm creeps closer. The breeze and cloud cover certainly brought the temps down though.

Last month my vet hosted an in-house educational summit about lameness evaluations. We had an Arthamid rep there as well (a hydrogel joint injection product) which is what I've used on Mikey's coffin joints last year. It was fun to learn more!
